All I'm saying is that whether you have illegal software on or not (it so happens I don't, but anyway) is not the issue. The issue is asking for (and mainly) posting links to cracks or providing serials for commercial software on a site that is highly visible on the Pocket PC marketplace.
I don't care what you have on your phones, just don't ask for serials or cracks for software you haven't paid for on HERE. I know I'm in the vast majority on this point.

There should be a sticky about this.
This isn't about morality or some higher principle, spooksie, it's about the very pragmatic possibility that one step on the wrong company's toes could get this whole forum in trouble. You wouldn't want to do that to its 38375 users, would you?
So put your hypocrisy detector away, nobody's telling you you can't use cracks or whatnot if you want, just keep the forum clean.
As for your other post, well, you're actually right, sometimes people get carried away with a little flaming when they have the feeling they're on the right side of the law, and glassfish' ludicrous remark in that thread really pissed me off (and probably a lot of other people too). But apart from that, keeping serial/crack related posts off the forum is the whole point. Each one could be the last.

This IS illegal... you may as well have posted some downloaded software and found the serial number on some warez website!
Also, IMO its crap compared to the versions currently being worked on by forum members...

There is nothing wrong with being helpful. But it is how you help. When you help in this kind of a situation it only confirms in a persons mind that all they need to do is ask!! And on this forum that wrong. Here the forum rules cleary state to search first. They are outlined in great detail. So giving answers on redunt threads started like these only goes to encourage that kind of behaviour. Did you think that if goofeyass had the cab then he must have gotten it somewhere as well?? Then this guy can search and locate it.

@Curious George: Every single post I have seen of yours in the past few days seems to be *****ing about new threads etc. Why? It's been going on for ages and it's not going to stop, especially with such a crude attitude to it, so why bother annoying people? It might increase your post count but it's incredibly annoying for everyone!

GEORGE! A great way to control a forum is to let the moderators do they job. If disagreed the topic would be locked, or better: deleted. The forum rules clearly state: Only post here if you are a developer/resource etc... If you go hard into the rules then you just broke them as well. Until a moderator speaks we should be nice. I'm sure you are nice as well but you just dont sound like that. A good community way of saying what you just did is:
"Here is your file. Next time, please take the time to search thus NOT spamming the forum with useless threads."
And see: now even I broke the forum rule ;P
Part from this: The forum search function here sux bigtime and its a bottleneck to this great place. Atleast, I think we both can agree to that.

Need help...don't wanna screw up

I purchased a Tilt about 2 weeks ago. I want to install Flo Cube on it. Is it compatable? If so, how do I go about installing it? I have searched the site for days and have found where to get the cab files and such, but no instructions on how to install it. This is my first pocket pc, so I know very little about them. If someone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I guess he hadn't taken the time out to read the forum rules or get a feel for the environment on here before posting in the develpopment area of all places (oh dear).

Small tip, this is a development forum. A lot of those apps were probably written by guys here who make their living as software developers. (I do just not for android, yet).
First thing you should do is edit your first post to remove the link, apologize, then post something constructive that might not get you banned.
Just a friendly hint.
