Who can help me?
Before when I recieved an mms message I got a notification on my today-screen and that was it.
Now when I recieve a mms message my mail program automaticly starts. This is not what I want.
Does anybody know what I did wrong? I'm almost sure I didn't change any settings....

I don't know what's wrong with youre mmssettings but what provider do u use?
i'm trying to put the mms settings on my orange m600 but unlocked it and trying to put my tmobile mms settings in it i think i put the right settings in them because it sends the mms but the mms on the other phone mdacompact received an sms to look at the mms on the tmobile site??? :?
maybe you or somebody else knows what i've done wrong here or have i installed the right settings but is something wrong with the tmobile server??
is there something like a cab file with the right dutch tmobile MMS settings???
if somebody has such a cab file please post...

i installed t mobile mms roms extracted from the 2.25 version rom but i still can't send or recieve mms's. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. what's wrong???
Well what's happening when you attempt to send? Do you have the MMS send screen? Needs more info... list your steps...

oh cool, ur from brooklyn too.
well... i take a pic with the camera app, then i click send mms through the menu. then the embedding thing comes up, i add the telephone number, the subject, and text for the body. and click send. and its in the mms outbox for a while with a little icon that looks like a clock on it. and it never sends. i go into the options for the mms message and send immediately is checked and i try to hit send again. nothing. then i go to send/recieve. nothing. then i think about throwing the phone to the wall. then i put the phone down and try to relax.
Have you gotten all the settings right?

thanks... that helped alot. the cab files set up mms all wrong. anyway... its connecting to gprs now but after a while the messages still fail to send. red x's on the messages on the inbox.
getting upset again...
btw, i'm not using an mda
i'm using an 8125 sim and cid unlocked

weird... Did you setup (in mms options) to connect via the network that you configured in settings/connections/connections?
Also the settings are universal to all pocketpc devices... doesn't matter what brand...

yes i did. grrrrr... whats going on? are there dimentions for the pictures you send via mms?
I am having the opposite problem. I have the Tmobile MDA with the ROM 2.26.10.2 and ExtROM is 2.26.10.105 and I am using a Cingular SIM but I am not able to add MMS configurations to this phone, It is greyed out and wont let me make a new settings button. Any help would be much appreciated.

Just a thought. Have you actually enabled the mms folder? Have you installed the cab from this thread? It should be in your extended rom and be activated at first install or hard reset. But you never know...
i've followed the directions in the configurator for tmobile mms, and the .cab for the mms folder. it even connects to mms but the message never gets sent. even with all bars. whats going on? are there any other .cab's i need?
nevermind. got it. made my own cooked extended rom. i'll post it later.

i use Qtek9000 for 3 month, and till today i didnt worried about MMS because i never used. But today I had an idea to send an MMS message so I opened Messaging system, selected from MENU -> MMS Configuration and configured my QTEK with MMS parameters from Operator Site.
The problem that I experience is that after setting MMS I'm still no able to create an MMS, in Messagind didn't apear an account for MMS Messages.
Can someone explain me why? and maybe someone can upload an MMS Composer here. Maybe and update of my MMS Composer will solve the problem.

i flashed a new rom today for the first time.. Windows Mobile 6 Professional Tri-Syndicate Edition by Antc and i have two questions.
One is when i try to compose new mms ,the windows ppc hour glass (colored circle) icon keeps going around like it is searching but never stops and i have to reset my phone. is there settings or something i have to alter to be able to send mms again.
Also , I am having a prob configuring my email... you know how on an official tmobile rom they have the set-up email cab and you can just click download settings for email and just select which ones you have and they will automatically add... how can i do this on this rom .. i dont know all the exact settings for my emails (aol and one for my college) is there a way to get the settings to automatically configure

use this cab it sets all the settings for mms that you need.
go to the mms settings and in the severs make tmobile mms the default
if you cant find the mms settings easily you may have the new mms composer so fallow these instructions
after you install make a new mms message and choose custom and go to menu> options > MMS options> servers> And make t-moble mms to default > ok> cancel message> and you are done
this will fix your mms problem

Under your mms settings do you have xxx.xxx.xxx.050 or .50? I don't remember the first strings of numbers but 050 won't work...
Did you run the Network Wizard? (Under settings/Connections.)

ok now i can receive mms without a problem, but they wont send. any feedback?
i have the same problem..they wont send at all i get the icon but it stays in outbox with no error message

when i get my mms i dont get a notification that i have a new message but i do get the mms is downloading icon. I changed the settings and the sound to let me know but it still didnt work but at least i cna still send and recieve them
Ok i set it up correct, and sometimes i get pictures sometimes i dont. the reason for this is that the settings keep changing themselves from what i set as the default mms profile (T-MO MMS) to T-Mobile Data, and when that happens i wont be able to receive mms until i switch it back. i still havent been able to send them though-What gives?
I am having the same problem, I run the network wizard and then a little while later, it seems to switch back and I have to run it again. I can't get my data connection to stay on all the time either.

i did, and it still doesnt work, MMS will not work
i have the htc herald unlocked and i get the lights like my mms messages are comin through after i send them to my phone but they never make it. i entered the manual settings.. what am i missing?

I am on T-Mobile, have used a half dozen different ROMS and have no problems with my MMS.
Your TMobile Data needs to be set on epc.tmobile.com
Then go to the SMS tab, all messages, menu MMS Options. Go to TMobile MMS Server, the server address needs to be as follows: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
Then select Connect via: T-Mobile Data
I have yet to have a problem sending a MMS using this.
try this one.
had tons of problems too, with custom roms. this cab fixed all of them. install after the auto sim configuration sets to tmobile. credit goes to the ChrisGrundy, maker of the timor tmobile 6.5 rom. also sets send recieve limits to 1000k, per current tmo limits.
(hopefully this isnt the same cab you already tried...)
edit:seems to only work with standard messaging program, previous post worked for me with manilla messaging app, but have to manually increase send/recieve size limit.
Thank you for that but im still not able to download a message or send.. it says that the notification is going to remain in the inbox... I guess i might have to switch roms which really sucks.. i really liked this one lol

The fix posted by benttwig (which I made myself) is supposed to be run after the HTC connection setup wizzard. Also, it's meant for use in the USA T-Mobile network.
Do those conditions apply to you?
I just now tried to run the fix after the connection setup wizard and it still does not work. I am sure im doing it correctly but its just not working for me.. I too have T-Mobile but I may be doing something wrong...
