First, try to do a 'SOFT REST' (Push and hold down Camera button and push the Power On button) and see if it works out,if it doesn't,then do the 'HARD RESET'
To perform a Hard Reset:-
1. Press and hold the Comm Manager button and Voice Comm button on the device.
2.Keep the two(above mentioned) buttons pressed, and at the same time, use the stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button.
The phone will reboot, and on reboot will ask for confirmation, press the 'Send' button, which is usually used when answering/calling.It'll do the Hard Reset.
But mind it,you'll lose all your personal data, like contacts, settings and messages, which of course, you can again put in.
Now, I'm confuse to hard reset about Jade. Anyone can tell me?
To perform a hard reset
1. Power off your device.
2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons, and then press the
POWER button.
"The following message then appears on the screen:
This operation will delete all your personal data, and reset all settings to manufacturer default. Press Volume Up to restore manufacturer default, or
press other keys to cancel."
3. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other
button to cancel the reset.
... 2. way:
1. Power off your device.
2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons, and then press the
RESET button. (...the Red Button under the cover on the backside)
Now you will become a "Boot-Screen-Message"
3. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other
button to cancel the reset.

OK following the indication of this method I have succeeded in making a Hard Reset of the Jade 100 (Touch 3G).
Here as I have done (way 3):
1. Power ON the device

Perhaps you bought a clone? They have different ways to start hardreset.
I have a HTC Touch QUALCOMM ® 7225 + G-Sensor, I can not do hard reset
The method 3 it's not working. Also method 2 and 1 either. RESET key on the back side isn't the red one. Sory gays, but for me that's all not working. My is HTC Jade 3G 100 not a clone. Sorry...
For Clones,
This is how to reset a clone if all methods tried and didn't work, turn off phone, while pressing and holding green and red buttons at the same time, press on/off button on top for 3 secs , you will see a white screen, then let go all buttons, the phone will start to hard reset.

When the LG logo appears, quickly release and then re-hold the Power button while continuing to hold the Volume down button.

Well, I would have loved to but all the steps must be executed on the phone which makes remote connections worthless as everything happens on the phone it's self.
