I have been looking at the FTP for the Xda-developers.com and could se some operator settings in .cab files for some countries but not mine. Can anybode tell me have i can make that for my country a operator

I saw on the forum someone posting they had a cab file for Rogers optimizations. Does Fido have one too or would the rogers work?
What does it set exactly?

I'm not sure how to create a .cab file for Fido, but what I did was get the Rogers cab file, install it, and then change the APN and other settings.

I living in Brasil, and when I change a ROM or hard reset my PPC, I lost all configs of conections for my operator, which does not recognize my Phone. because of this thought: could not create a cab with these settings? If possible, could someone pass me some advice, because I not found nothing in my searches.
