Great site sorted alot of problems so far.. BUTTT!

all worked great but now i do not get any signal and when i try to dial a number it drops as soon as i press talk about 2 seconds then it does nothing

Thank you very much in advance .......................
vig out

First of all. Do not post multiple post
Secondly. Make your title more meaningful. Instead of "Please Help". Make is like e.g. "Help. Not able to get signal after unlock", which may attract people with the same experience to help you out on this. There are way too many 'please help' thread around and people just started to ignore them.
Anyway, as for your question. I do experience poor/no signal once a while. The last time I've got that, is when my battery is down 25%. and I thought it is a crap phone. but later I've realised that it is the providers problem.
Give it a try on different time, location, providers

sorry for the lame post title i was rushed all sorted now ty
but my phone is 100% charged and both sim cards have no signal but in
other phones the signal is great i really think the problem lies in the phone i have a big headache over this thank you for trying thow ¬_¬.
anybody else have an idea or have experienced the same problem?

Many old threads on this topic. My main advice is to get rid of the phone skin, it speeds things up nicely, but I'm not sure if it'll fix your problem - I don't use my Universal as a phone, so I've got no experience of it

HTC TyTN Issues...

So I bought a TyTN around two months ago... I use it on the Cingular network with no problems the entire time.
Today around noon it starts bugging out on me. It freezes, so I restart it and it isn't reading the SIM for some reason. I restart again, it takes ten minutes to recognize the SIM, and when it does it freezes.
I looked up on how to hard reset it, and it seemed to be going all right, but then it continued to have the same problems. Now it doesn't even recognize the SIM.
When I connect the phone to my laptop via USB it gives a quick three tones and Activesync is not registering anything. I need to know what to do to try and get my phone functional again...
Just a suggestion... if you want people to read your post how about a more informative heading?
HTC TyTn Issues....
We know you have a Tytn/Hermes, cause this is a Hermes forum and we know most people posting have issues... what they are is the important thing.
How about... Sim Not Being Recognised. Then others who have had this problem will imediately see the post and reply. Otherwise many people will not bother to read it.

Sim card issues?

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone had any ideas what might be going on. I have an orange spv m700 unlocked, and re-radioed to make GPRS work on vodafone payg sim.
The phone works fine 90% of the time, but occasionally, I'll miss calls when I knew I was in an area with reception. I then get the message off vodafone call minder saying I missed a call, sometimes immediately. Sometimes I've even had people next to me ring, and not got through even though I had reception - though most of the time it works, so its hard to diagnose.
I was beginning to suspect that it might be something wrong with the sim, as it used to happen with my old phone (same sim), so I rang vodafone to get some help but they said they couldnt find my phone and so couldnt help me.
Has anyone any ideas? Do I need a sim update? How can I get one?
Thanks
(incidentally, I cant get mms working (using settings off this forum) but arent particularly bothered, I just thought it might be related)
Sorry, no SIM card issues. I can assure you that because mine has same issues, asked my phone provider for a duplicated SIM, and with the new one, had exactly the same bug.
Right now, my S300 is in Htc hands, being serviced, no clue if it's gonna be fix, replaced or worse, being sent right back to my hands as was sent to them, because that has happened once already to me. Bought this PDA on 3/17 and it has already been sent to Htc twice, I only had it like 2 days in my hands. First time they did notthing, hope it doesn't happen again, and I'll get it back to me fixed, or I'll throw the PDA down the window and never buy any Htc device again.
Good luck mate, and if someone have some useful info on this, please share,as I would like to know the fate of my S300.
Good I didn't SuperCID it out of the box, and waited to check everything was OK.

Help me out please I am still a rookie ( Problems and battery charger options )

Hi Everyone,
I am new to the forum and a rookie with phone tech. If someone can please help me out with these questions I would appreciate it thanks a lot. I know this stuff was probably addressed in the past forums but I didn't see a resolution on the threads.
1st Issue
3g is hunting back and forth with edge as it interrupts phone services. It seems to always drop signal when I am on the 3g network and it takes away from incoming and outgoing calls. I am in New York and was wondering if anyone else is having this problem.
( Side note: I called up T-mobile and they said it was the "hardware issue" and that it was just the phone so they are going to send me another one. I doubt that's the issue and they said if the next hd2 I get has the same problem they will get it ticketed and let their engineers know. That's the only solution I have as of now. )
2nd Issue
If anyone has found a battery charger or has purchased one already would you please post model and also a feedback as well. Some were already noted in the past threads. Not good at modding chargers so nothing modded please.
Thanks in advance to whoever responds

Not sure about the charger though, but your first issue... it seems a lot of people are having that issue (me included). I live in the Miami area and have the same exact problem. There is another thread about this as well. Take a look at it

No signal

EDIT: I realized that this is not a signal fault. Phone can no longer detect sim card and i only have this phone for 3 weeks.. I searched forums and it seems that theres no solutions except bringing it to warranty. Maybe someone has anything useful to tell me ? I'd appreciate it
