As you can see in my sig i have experimented with another ROM other than the cingular one.
I would like to know which are the ROM's that i can use other that the one i have currently installed.
Any suggestions? The better one?

There is no "AKU 2.23" Rom 2.23.11.1 is the reported Rom Version for the (hopefully) soon to be officially released Cingular AKU 2.2 Rom.
The Rom that Summiter built uses a Rom Image from a phone with the 2.23.11.1 Rom Installed
i tried the 2,2 rom above and i was having wi fi problems...
im trying to install now the 2.17.7.102
When im updating now though i notice that the app on pc still shows me having a 1.2.0.0 rom?

I think I will wait a little longer.
The reason is it works so good with this rom I don't want to take the risk.

could you provide a link to the one you are using.. i dont know why im having these issues with wifi? i didnt have this problem with the stock cingular one. i cant access any page in pie

Absolutely. Many people have changed the Roms to different brands. I use the Dopod Rom on a Qtek, so no problem, as long as you have any arabic rom for the Prophet ;-)

If you want to preserve the Rom you already have, for future needs, it is best to extract it yourself. There are posts in this forum about how to do it (never tried it myself), so do some searching and you should find it.

I tried hard to locate O2 Plus in this forum but to no luck. I am very interested to put O2 Plus on my device but without replacing the ROM. Can you help locate.

hi guys not been on here for a while and cant make any sence of anything any more lol, ive been given a HTC blueangel (branded as an i-mate pda2k and want to get a better rom for it, how do i go about doing that and where would i find the best download links to the right software as a few on here dont work for me and what rom would people reccomend for it to be upgraded to
