Just wondering what the differnce is between the to version. Are they the same? Same functionality? Will the 2003 version work on a 5.0 device?
They are probably quite the same and most wm2003 programs run fine on wm5, but i would stick with the wm5 version for the wizard.

Hello
I was wondering if the windows mobile 5.0 on on XDA exec is exactly the same as the windows mobile 5.0 on the imate jasjar and only the applications on the two devices differ or are there differences(minor) in the OS?
i know that windows mobile 5.0 is based on windows ce5.0, i was wondering if operators need to take the same subset of the functionsto make the windows mobile or are there mandatory functions which make it windows mobile and then there are optional functions which differentiate the offerings?
the sda and mda both use Windows Mobile 5.0 (Magneto) but it seems that the sda uses a cutdown version of mobile 5.0, so does that mean mobile 5.0 is a set of features with mandatory features and optional features
Somebody can help me to update this software for Windows mobile 5.0?

Have anyone the Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM? No modifications or so on?

There is no official WM6.5 for the Herald, therefore no.
You can just JustHome, that's wm6.5.
Other than that, I don't have a German version.... yet.
I have the HP iPaq HW6940.
It is running Windows Mobile 5.0.
Is there any way I can update Windows Mobile to a newer version such as 6.1 or 6.5?
Hello everybody,
Can anybody tell me if it's possible to flash the HTC Advantage X7500
with a very old version of Windows Mobile - like Pocket PC 2002 / Windows
Mobile 2003 instead of the original Windows Mobile 6 Pro.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
Well, i can't see the benefits in it,
but you would have to cook your own ROM.
If you're able to do so it may work.
