Hi there,
I have qtek9100 with the AKU2 rom. I am latched up to cingular and followed some threads on this forum to get the MMS settings for cingular.
When I try to send an MMS, it keeps trying again and again but fails. I could locate the log it creates and here it is
2 files: Send.txt and mm1_wsp_wtp_2.log
I think i could locate the error, but no idea how to fix it. Highlighted in Red.
Anyone ?

No luck so far. I am really waiting if someone can help me out.
if you change your settings to Wap 2.0 check your send.txt file again and see if the error has changed from -2 to a 606, i know it does with mine.
It seems as if the phone has not recognised the sim number, very strange
Of course i cant recieve a MMS until i have sent one
Aaron.
I have same error SEND RESULT: 606. Do you know how I can fix it ?
Thanks

Hi
I am using KSoap2 for consume web service in my application. I need to send date as parameter in the request. As i come to know date format was not supported by KSoap2. So i converted to string and send the request and also i am getting exception.
: WARN/System.err(279): SoapFault - faultcode: 'soap:Client' faultstring: 'System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to read request. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: There is an error in XML document (1, 426). ---> System.FormatException: The string '2010-09-28 12:13:09' is not a valid AllXsd value.
Can anybody know how to send date as a parameter and send the request and please give the sample code for it.
Thanks

Hi!
I have a T-mobile HD2 with Cyanogen CM7.1 (Gingerbread 2.3.4), bought from the states and are using it in Sweden with the operator Tele2 ( perhaps a question to the swedish members?).
Everytime I get a mms I have to connect to internet and download it, I looked at my mms settings and everything is correct.
Code:
[B]Name[/B]
Tele2
[B]APN[/B]
Internet.tele2.se
[B]Proxy,port,username,password,server[/B]
Not set
[B]MMSC[/B]
http://mmsc.tele2.se
[B]MMS proxy[/B]
130.244.202.30
[B]MMS port[/B]
8080
[B]MCC[/B]
240
[B]MNC[/B]
07
[B]Authentication type[/B]
Not set
[B]APN type[/B]
default,supl,mms
[B]APN protocol[/B]
IPv4
My operator also mentions ( besides the settings ) that I should:
Connect via Tele2 MMS, that option is not available, perhaps not that important.
Also what about the settings regarding " Custom User-Agent" ?
Do I choose custom and type in HTC TouchHD2? Or NexusOne? Or?? Because the default settings were on Android phone and that did not work.
Appreciate any help
Thanks!
Sorry for bumping,
Anyone?
The mms sending/reciving works fine when the phone is booted in windows.... In android I have to be connected to the internet to see (download)/send mms, but it should be able to send without a internet connection.
This is a quick guide on merging your default internet and MMS APNs.
Why would you want to do this?
Maybe you are looking for a possible solution to MMS not being sent/received on LB CM12 5.0.2 for Xperia SP. This may be useful on other ROMs as well. It doesn't take long.
But first...
Check your mobile data connection is working and you have the correct APN settings for your carrier. Delete any APNs that do not correspond to the settings provided by your carrier. Also check that you do have at least two different APNs with one used for MMS.
Still no MMS?
You can try merging the APNs and see if that helps.
1] APN settings are found in Settings->Wireless & networks->More
2] Edit the MMS APN. You need to note down the values for MMSC, MMS proxy and MMS port
3] Now go back and edit your default APN. Enter the values from the MMS APN into this one. Also change the APN type field to the catch-all wildcard (star) character *
4] Save the default APN with these new settings
5] Now go back and delete the MMS APN from its settings page. You should now have just one APN for all internet and MMS connectivity. Check if MMS is working.

Some logs might show some light, run these and try sending and receiving MMS
Code:
$ adb -d logcat -v long | grep -iE 'mms|net|telephony|connectivity' > ~/Mms.log
$ adb -d logcat *:EW > ~/ErrorsWarnings.log
