I flashed the newest DOPOD Asia ROM 1.30.111 but found that the Voice Commander is English version, my pronounsation is very poor so the device can't recognize my command mostly. Anyone can help me to upload the CHT Extended ROM to the ftp or attach the CVC cab file onto the forum?

I have downloaded aWizard program, it has the option of writing .nba file to device, but dunno how to use it as well.
Does anyone have a copy of the english rom to upload to ftp://xda:[email protected] ? I'm planing to get a Dopod 818 Pro, but its in the chinese os.

Did you flash your Dopod 818Pro yet to English? Did it work? I want a Silver one but only available in T. Chinese version. I want to know if there is any trouble with flashing it to the English version. Also would anyone know is the English ROM (shipment) version on Dopod's website will work in re-flashing a T. Chinese version to English?

Yea I got it working It was pretty easy Just use aWizard to unlock it first, then download the exe from the ftp, the file I used was Dopod818pro_WWE_1001321_10013102_11320_Ship.exe
Took about 5 minutes and my Dopod 818 Pro is now in English
Its faster and more snappy than the Chinese OS for sure
Hi edmondt, Just curious, any residual Chinese left after re-flashing. A few people reported some problems with a couple of programs did not port over with the new extended ROM from the re-flash. Just curious.
I have a Dopod 818Pro now (black) and just re-flashed it to the new iMate JAMin ROM. It worked! Just hope when I get my silver T. Chinese 818Pro all will go well with the re-flash on it...

I saw on one of your post that your were able to successfully change the Chinese OS to English OS of Dopod 818pro. I just bought one yesterday in Taiwan, and I would like to also change the OS to English. Would you kindly share with me a step by step guide on how to change the OS, as I am a newbie in XDA and I also cannot read chinese. Thanks in advance.

I couldn't able to see my homezone. We have one tool to download it but it is nor more working. Kindly, develop new CAB for this for all kinds of English ROMS.

I need bepes german ROM:can you find here: please notice that you load the
ROM wiith 407 for German Language.see the attachments:
It works fine and very smooth.
Bepes ROm shows the homezone,but there is another tool,named batterystatus- You noticed at on the second picture. Its a great tool and it works fine with the diamond. You can read the description in last attachment.
and here is the orginal Homezone Package from o2 rom 1.37.
you can cook it in your rom with Kaiser Kitchen for Diamond.
