I'm using Soti pocket controller pro, and I'd like to send the sound to the host PC. I currently connect via the USB cable, but I may switch to using WiFi as it'll be faster video.
Is there anyway the sound can be sent from the pocketpc to the host pc?
bump!
you can get a cable that connects from your exec to your line in socket on your pc's sound card, that's the only way it will work.
You can try a widcom BT stack on yr host PC...and set it as Handsfree...all your sounds will b transferred to PC...even calls u can listen and answer.

Using my Jabra 250 Blutooth headset and my XDA 2 connected to the desktop via cradle. Is it possible to 'talk' to the PC, using Voice Recognition in Windows XP, to create a Word document?
Why route the connection through the XDAII at all? Just get a bluetooth usb dongle for your PC and make sure that the widcomm drivers for the dongle support the headset profile.
The XDA is, in effect, a usb dongle, so could it itself behave as one? (Saves me purchasing one)
Does anyone know if its possible to tether a Tytn to a PC via USB and have it act like a bluetooth receiver so that you can activesync another Tytn thru it.
for example.
PC <--connected via usb--> TyTn1 <--connected via bluetooth--> Tytn2
TyTn2 is then Activesync'ed with the PC
The reason I ask is that I have a Tytn with a broken USB port and I want to sync it with the PC before I get it repaired.
Thanks
Greevous
I don't think this will work.
Why not get a Bluetooth adapter for your PC and sync directly with TyTN #1?
Worst case you use it and then return it...
hi,
anyone knows of any SW that makes the pocket pc behave as a bluetooth dongle, connected to my pc through activesync? (i have no bluetooth dongle in my pc, & i need to connect my pc to a mobile phone through activesync)
thanks.
edit: follows here
Is it possible to use the phone as a USB bluetooth receiver connected to a PC? I want to be able to use my bluetooth headset with my PC but don't have a seperate bluetooth receiver. It would be cool if the phone could be hooked up via USB to do all of this magic for me.
Seeing as how we can share the wifi and use it as a hotspot, this should also theoretically be possible. If the phone has a USB connection it should be able to share it's bluetooth capability with what it's connected to. It should take some sort of driver I'm guessing.
i am a cable freak and currently stream audio through my work pc and use the pc speakers. i would like to use bluetooth to eliminate the line in cable. is there anyone doing this? i don't want to buy a bluetooth adapter if this is not possible.
another reason using the line in cable is a PITA is because when i receive a call i have to pull the cable out. then when the call is over i have to make sure i plug it back in quickly or else the music just starts playing again automatically using the rear speaker (pandora).
