Hello everybody, I´m trying to connect my XDA II device to a portable
printer with bluetooth by code (C# or VB .NET).
The problem I have is that I can´t get the data I need to connect with
the printer with the bluetooth software that comes with the XDA (the
port that has to be used on the printer to get connected, etc...).
Does anyone know some way or software (open source), that could help
me to get that information ???
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.
Anyone out there has connected their O2mini to a RS-232 device?
I heard there is a Bluetooth device to connect to RS-232...is that true... ?
Please Advice...
Cheers.
no problem
since the serial port profile is one of the oldest and well supported bluetooth-profiles its really no problem. search for an bluetooth rs-232 adapter in ebay or in google or whatever......
i have already done this before.
it's only a question of the bitrate and other constraints you have.....

does anybody know why on htc p3600 (trinity) I can't able to connect from linux via rfcomm? The idea is those that I ever do on all bluetooth phones that I used (nokia and symbian works very well): I want to connect from my laptop to inetrnet by g3 connection from the phone via bluetooth.
So.. the htc p3600 has a serial port on channel 4 so I had configured the rfcomm on linux to connect to the phone... But I can't be able to do nothing...
involved in desperation I compiled and installed SyncCE (the 0.10 that should works on windows mobile 2005) on my proud gentoo
But it don't work......... What's the matter with those bill gates phones? On the phone I have add a in port with protected connection...
solved...

Hi there!
I have a iPAQ h3950 with Windows Mobile 2003 (Yes, i know, pretty old, but i am working on build a newer firmware for my device, if you have hints, hit me)
I also have a PCMCIA sleeve for my iPAQ.
I want to connect the iPAQ to my wireless LAN or via Cable to my LAN.
I have diffrent PC Cards in my collection, e.g. a gbit digitus card (with realtek drivers)
a Proxim Orinoco 8470 Gold with atheros chipset
a 3com 3ccfe575ct-d
and a 3com 3ccfe575ct
Somewhere I have another 3com card with a different chipset.
My problem now is, that I dont find any drivers for any of these cards.
First of all, most interesting for me would be a wireless LAN card for that device, but also wired LAN. If anyone suggest another card, that should run, then I'll have a look at it, but at first I would like to use, what I already have.
I want to use the iPAQ for configuring network devices, without the need for my laptop. I also own a serial cable for the device, so I can connect it to console ports of my devices.
One further thing I need is a Software that is xmodem compatible for my device, so I can flash devices right through the serial connection in the bootloader. (e.g. Linksys WRT54GL oder a Fonera via self made console cable)
I hope, that anyone can help me with my questions. As the Soft and hardware is old, it is hard to find working links on the net.
Thank you in advance for your help
