I got an i-mate JAMin that was driven over by a car. The screen was wrecked. I tried to connect it and it sync OK. With Pocket Controller it obiously works quite well after all, exept thyat it cant connect to the network, guess something is wrong with te antenna. Could this be fixed? If so, I only need to replace the screen.
Suggestions?

All I can say is WOW, the JAMin survived a run over. Sorry to hear about your misfortune tho...hope it can be fixed from the old O2 MINI parts or something.
Nobody know where I can get a new screen?

im quite in a little trouble with my alpine aka xda2i.
first of all i owned the old Himalaya Device and also the o2 carkit. no problems so far. now i "updated" to the xda2i and now its not possible to use the carkit as it was designed for, handsfree phoning... i hear the ones that calls me but they cannot hear me, i checked the micro but that is still ok. So maybe someone owns or knows where to get the connector pinout from an Alpine. then i can compare it with the Himalaya pinout. maybe they just changed 1 or 2 pins.
Second thing i want to know is if anyone knows how decode the Alpine ROMs cause i always get an password error on ER2003Edit..

I need to change the lcd and the housing on my wizard I have an lcd from a magician (imate jam) would that work with the Wizard (imate K-jam).
Also I can't find the service manual for the wizard in the ftp server can somebody help me find it.

well I ended up opening it up by myself it was straight forward but now I need to know if the LCD's are the same between Wizard and magician.
The magician is a end edition one...
I think they are diferent. But not sure.
Anyway. I need a wizard keyborad ribon for my faulty one. Have you this part?

it turned out both LCD's are the same. But there are 2 kinds of LCD's for both the magician and the wizard (gen1 and gen2) in my case I was lucky that they were both the same gen.
And for your question, I am sorry but I don't have any spare parts.
Hi All. Some keys of hard keybord are now faulty. I opened the wizard and discover that the ribon cable that connects the keypad to the mother board is the problem. So, I need to find this part to recover my wizard. Perhaps someone with a dead one can help me. I already searched in ebay but no luck till now. Should you do anything for me and I would be very gratefull. Thank you all

I have a QTEK S200, ROM 2.13.9.26 PTG, and yesterday the bluetooth, doesn't work anymore.
It can't detect another device and another device can't detect the QTEK.
The configurations are correct !!! but still not work!!!
I don't know, what's happen. Maybe a hardware problem !!

how long does it take for your device to start up? If it takes ages (3-5 minutes) than the bluetooth device is gone and u will have to replace it. it happened to me...

yes i had the same problem with mine it was a hardware problem, it was replaced with a new unit. it was a motherboard problem when the unit warmed up, like when connect throw usb to the pc or while charging...or with direct sunlight if you can replace by a new one

its hardware there are a lot of threads about this problem...no need to spent time upgrading because it wont do anything to it
