How would I backup the ROM that came with my device?
I have a German O2 Neo and I am going to flash it to an English ROM. However I would first like to back up the German ROM in case I ever need to return the device for any reason.

You need to use Awizard. Find the program and the instructions on how to use in this forum.

Hi guys, i've just bought an Italian V1640 Vodafone branded... i can tell you honestly that the actual rom sucks and i've decided to upgrade to the latest imate rom...
I've only one problem, even if i took a look to the forum and to wiki, i've found only topics related to italian rom for 1640 but no files available...
Is that possible that one of you can send me an italian vodafone rom for 1640 even if it's a old one??? I want it because i want the possibility to revert back to an original rom in case i've to send the pda for maintenance!!!
If someone of you got this rom, please let me know or upload to the ftp site... THANKS a lot.

Look for instruction in the UNIVERSAL UPGRADING SECTION
Download a ROM from the ftp site
use the tool NoId (run it for 2 time)....

I'm looking for the Dutch SPV M700 ROM or a (easy) way to get the ROM from the phone's memory.
On Modoco I found a usefull guide (http://www.modaco.com/Paul-s-guide-to-backin-t255064.html) but my only question is if I can use any language rom or do I need a dutch rom as a "donor"?
Anyone got any idea??

hi ^^ i saw this post so i went to that site and made my personal rom for my qtek 1010...
i got wm2003 se.. good
but one thing i wanted to know, i spent a long time chosing the tools i want in it.. then downloaded the file, flashed my 1010.. and then.. there's wm2003se, but only 2 extra utility and none of those i chosed (such TCPMP...)
can anyone explain me something? ^^

Than you have to take a look at your provider....
Otherwise you can get a ROM from the Romkitchen. Either an clean ROM or already with additional programs included

i need the original german 1.28.407.1. I want send the TC back because my Camera dosn´t work anymore. I´ve look since three weeks to clear the Camera Problem. But nothings helps. Now i must send back the TC to HTC in hope to get back a running Camera.
Can i use every original Rom or must i use the german rom wich was installed on delevering. (Perhaps i can use the wwe original rom)
I was very happy if someone can help me or dump his german rom.

That is the O2 XDA Orbit 2 german ROM, not the HTC Touch Cruise german ROM.
