Cables and different hardware

Hi,
I have a question regarding cable-compatibility among the XDAI/MDAI and XDAII/MDAII.
To be specifik, I have a GPS-receiver that I used to connect via cable to my XDAI, can I use the same cable for my MDAII?
If not,
Can I use same cables on XDA II and MDA II?

use XDA 2 to access USB hard disk?

Hi all
Is there any mechanism that you can use to allow the XDA 2 to connect to an external USB hard drive?
I know some of the new PDA devices will have USB Host controller interfaces built into them, but isn't there ANY WAY that we can achieve this with the XDA 2?

There is a Compact Flash to USB adapter available.
So if you had the XDA II BackPack accessory you could use that CF - USB adapter to connect to a USB Hard disk.
This isn't the one I have seen but is similar. Unfortunately though this one is only available on pre order http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=113389
The one I saw had a short cable with single male USB socket and was working in a HP iPAQ.

I need to use my laptop out at other peoples offices, i also need to conect to a server whilst on site.......

How to connect O2 Mini 's Mini USB to a RS-232 Device?

I wonder is there anyone out there has connected their 02mini or Variants from a Mini USB port to RS-232 device...??

Is it the same as the XDA IIi (alpine)
Can I use my existing GPRS if I change to the mini?

Don't know what's on the Alpine but the Magician has a standard mini-usb connector.
