I try to use mobiSMS which let you send SMS at cheaper price but I could not get any infomation from my account or send sms through GPRS.
I try to change the phone connection type or make a custom connection with the parameters given by Orange.
It establishes a connection and after it always shows this message "HTTP error : GPRS/IO error. Connection lost while processing data".
It works great when I share the internet connection from my computer and connect the phone through bluetooth or use Wifi.
Any suggestion thanks !!!!
I test it on a SPC C500, C600 and M3000. Does orange forbid the access?

the wifi works, but when out of a wifi area, i cant connect via gprs, it gives an error message saying " the answering modem has disconnected please check settings"
Any websites showing these gprs settings (even to check against what i have already) would be great. I am on contract with o2

I had this the other week after Pi**ng around with my connection settings, positive I put everything back as it was but my XDAiis refused to connect to GPRS or Receive SMS (bizarrely I could send OK!)
Tried everything but in the end had to do a hard reset and that fixed it
jimmy are you on Payg or contract?
Does anyone have the code to invoke the send and recive command from the messaging. ie force the GPRS to re-connect. I have set the auto download emails every 1 minute but this is not reliable. I need to call re-connect as and when I send data.
XDA2 and XDA2i UK O2 connections.

would this work? i have lots of problems getting gprs to re-connect after its dis-connected sometimes. It really bugs me because this is the only phone ive ever had that can't always connect to gprs when its blatently available!

I've got a SPV C500 from Orange and I tested the program with a C600 but without any success

I want that all the pay connection are deleted form my phone, for example, I set software to get my calendar automatically, of google maps,... from internet, but if no WIFI connection is available, the phone will dial an operator phone number for WAP called "WAP SFR CSD" and I had to cancel the call...
I've deleted all connection in Connexion page (even the MMS connexion and I don't know how to put it back) but this strange connextion is still there.
So, I want that all softwares who need to gon on internet, can still try (for getting mails, callendar, sync, etc..) but if no connexion through wifi or usb is available, do nothing. And don't try to use pay connexion.
Or better, sync only if Wifi, of activesync is enabled.

P.S : my operator is SFR and I use the "normal" version if WM5
You could try a program called NoData available from Modaco.com. It allows you turn off/on your GPRS etc at will. My situation is exactly like yours - my phone kept trying to dial up to GPRS etc and I had to continuously keep cancelling the connection. This nice little utility has stopped this from happening.

got a little problem, here in germany we've got flatrates for calls to the landline (<- hope this is correct). And there it is possible to to connect to an internetprovider wich uses such a number. At my SonyEricsson K610i it wasn't a problem to set it the way that everytime I opened the internet explorer it connected automaticaly with this number insted of the gprs connection.
Now my question is, could I set it the same way on my Thyphoon with WM06? I tried to creat a dial-up connection but I don't know which connection he choose, because there is only the connected symbol in at the taskbar!
Could someone help me?
