custom sms tones

hi,
I have this software called photo contacts pro, this software can let u change sms tones for each contact (like the way u change ringtones on the standard wm contacts).
But i have a problem, the software conflicts with my wm/spb shell software and as such if i change my profile in the spb shell (and standard wm setting) to say silent, it does not change.
Does anyone know of a software that lets me change sms tones for different contacts but does not do anything else (profiles etc) or has the ability to choose what it can do.
ps. i know there are settings on photo contacts pro but if u set it not to do anything but sms tones, the standard wm settings still dont work.

today afternoon, when i turned the phone to vibration only, when new sms received, there is still ring for sms.
i also using the photo contacts pro and i think its the profiles messing things up

what i wanted in Photo Contact Pro is the extra large caller id numbers for incoming calls. do the ringomo have that?

SMS Threading/Conversation

Hi,
I have just installed a new rom, Schap's WM6 Pro 4.31, and my sms messages are not displaying in the chat/conversation view. I have tried the registry tweak and sms mode 3.1 and the palm app, the tweaks do not work and the palm app is not what I had before. I had this view on 2 previous roms and it is on my work phone - htc touch pro. I looks like its something that comes with Windows Mobile, can anyone shed any light on this please?

There is application SMS Tweaker that provides threaded SMS or you can set it up in Schap's Advanced Configuration

I have found out that the rom I have is WM6 which doesn't have sms threading so am changing my rom! Thanks for the reply!

SPB and no SMS notification

Hello.
After installing SPB Mobile Shell, I don't any audionotification when I recieve an SMS. All the settings imply that I should get a sound, and a vibration.
But the only thing I get is the LED blinking, which I set in BsB Tweaks.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Ok, I just uninstalled SPB MS, and the problem is still there.

Annoying unread SMS notification beep

Hi there,
My TD2 has an annoying periodical beep when I have unread SMS. Anyone know how to turn it off or change the sound?
I gone through Sound and notification settings menu but couldn't found anything related.

[Q] SMS Notification is useless in Omnia II WM 6.5 Pro

Hi All,
Does anyone here suffer from the problem of clicking the SMS notification button in WM 6.5 Pro ?
i tried to click on the upper left corner but nothing happened ?

Have the same phone but never used the original OS. But you might want to try VITOChat... Many have commented it is a great program for SMS.

+1 on Vito SMS Chat, great utility plus an option to back up.
