It's a remote control for various apps, but it also allows you to move the mouse using your stylus. I use it on a Mac, but I think the PC version will give the same functionality.

Not quite what i need, i use that to control my ppc, what I want is to actually use my ppc as a second monitor, but thanks NatroXz
if u have WM6..remote Desktop sharing is already their..just configure it to connect it to ur computer

basically my mouse has died on me and i was wondering wheather there is a app to turn my ppc into a touch pad which would connect via activsync and control my pointer on my desktop pc ?????

Check out http://www.innobec.com/en/products.php for what I am looking for. It is good, but I want to find a free way of doing it, as it is quite handy having somthing like notepad open in the ppc whilst i work in the main screen
thanks for the reply i downloaded to software you recommended but it did not install on my x51v .
i ran the cab file and went through the set up ............it said it is installed but could not find it anywhere on the ppc looked in programs and file explorer ....nothing!

So i´ve tried sidewindow.. @ my ppc (htc p-3401 wm5) and the ppc screen stay a little bit white, it lose the phone signal(what?! conflict ?) and nothing works..
tehre´s any equivalent software? or anyone knows how to fix the problem with sidewindow?

I want to make a remote desktop web connection.
When I go to http://www.eapdlaw.com/tsweb/Default.htm with my Ameo, the connect button is not active.
I can connect with no problems using a desktop pc... but when I try it with my Ameo... it's not possible to push the connect-button.
Do I need to install some kind of add-on to make the connect-button active???

why would you bother with that anyway when your phone has a much better (and probably quicker) built in app for doing it !!

if for some reason it is not in your program files here it is to install !
stick the cab file on your phone and run it, to install

I am able to get connected and remote desktop working. However, there is no shutdown option in my windows pc via my hd2. Anyone knows how can I shut down my PC ? I have searched online saying abt creating a shortcut and typing some command in. However, it doesnt seems to work. Anyone knows how ?
oh ya, btw, anyone of u guys managed to add rotation support to the remote desktop mobile on our phones ? I tried using BSB tweaks but that doesnt seems to work. anyone can help ??

Thats right.. you can create a shortcut to the destkop of your PC

i had a lot of problems with that particular cab too. so i moved to different 3rd party apps like "t2 remote touch" http://t2remotetouch.blogspot.com/
or "www.logmein.com" although you have to tweak your internet explorer on your cell phone to make it work. good luck
