The S200 ships with an extra CD Rom called "Application CD" which I believe has a GPRS monitor on it, when I have tried to install this it says that i need a ROM upgrade, anyone experienced this?

Found in the expansys forum that the program is spb gprs monitor... go to spb web site and download the new version.
It worked on mine but you have to pay for it...
It seems that this update is on the Qtek site (www.qtek.se)

Nalye: How does the Upgrade worked? Do you have any problem in using or installing? Do you have any problems using the upgraded device with german O2? How about the Home-Zone Display and whole stability?

Thanks for answering. German o2 uses a special application with the XDA, called "Home Zone Status", whats implemented in the original ROM provided by O2. With this application you get a special sign at the top of the screen if your device is in an defined area called HomeZone. The data used by this application must be provided by the gsm-part of the device, but i think, that the T-Mobile-Rom does not support the transfer of this informations because german T-Mobile does not provide this feature.
Does anyone experienced any solution for this problem?

i dn´t know ´bout a special program for displaying the hz-status, but i´m about to call o2 for an application to fix it.
the rom i cooked works well, but as you know every data got lost (about 350 sms or so) :x

I have Qtek 8020 (it's like SP3i) and it has wmp 9 on it.
I was wondering if i can have wmp 10 on my phone like
Audiovox SMT5600, dopod 565 and 575.
I' ve asked Qtek service in Greece and they said that they don't
know when they are going to release the firmware that has
wmp 10.
So, does anybody know if this is possible?
Maybe a hack on Qtek rom?

also Qtek 8020 is not a pda it's a smartphone they cant use programs compiled for pda's as they use a different type of cpu
There are no ROM tools that work with smartphone ROM images. So you cannot cook ROMs yourself.
hi I've upgraded from a compact to a mda pro aka universal ,
doesn't wm5 have msn messenger loaded on it?

You need to upgrade the ROM to version 1.20. This will have all the extra features with it. I wish I had realised this before paying £10.99 for the Pocket MSN from Microsoft (luckily it was a direct debit payment so I just cancelled it!! hehe).
To upgrade the ROM have a search on the forums and Google for the link. When you're on the ROM download page it will say its the only and oldest ROM. This is bull**** - it is actually a new ROM.

Unfortunately i'm not really into blackberry, but i know that windows mobile 2003 devices (such as your JAM) are not compatible with pushmail technology. Microsoft released the MSFP for Windows Mobile 5 devices...
I believe the latest t-mobile uk rom has blackberry connect as part of it. did you check with vodafone to see if they have a bb rom for the vpa-compact?

I have just had a Qtek S200 phone/pda combo. I am wanting to upgrade it and so I have downloaded the shipped ROM from XDA's FTP server (file name: RUU_Prophet_2090724_20907106_020720_QtekWWE_Ship.exe). However, it cannot be excuted. Everytime I double click on it, it just show a DOS windows and then disapears. No any actions will be operated. So I am wondering if this file is bad or something I do is wrong?
