I need to get SMS delivery notification to be sure recipient has got my message.
I switched that feature on and notifications comes succesfully. But they just report that SMS was sent to phone number. Although this number belongs to certain contact in contact list, SMS Notification doesn't resolve number to contact name.
I cannot remember each contact's phone number, so that notification is useless.
I there any solution to have phone number resolved to contact's name?

also in the missed call list can you show the time of call for calls in previous days? (not only the date)

mmm, do not know, to me, I prefer to see the summary for an SMS! but really do not have an answer to your question.

Yep you can, u just do a slight small click on any call info, then it will display time and date and duration for each call, in case for mist calls, the duration is zero.
In the "To" address bar, one can just click on the center button and you can choose which person to send it to, you can also do this when emailing somebody, however this does not work when you are sending MMS messages. Is there a way to fix this?
I think this is a bug. If you actually click on the "To:" text it will bring the contact list up.

I have another problem with my phone.
It doesn't show sms senders name. The sender IS in my contact list, but still, it doesn't show.
Some registry tweak or what?

by default no, it works automatically, maybe you have the contacts list with spaces in the number ?!
related question:
I get an sms from a person not in my contacts list, i select to add it and set a name, but in Pocket Outlook i keep seeing just the number... is this correct? in my K800i once i add the contact in the address book i see name in sms list.
I have absolutely no spaces in numbers.

@ the OP: some say hiding SIM contacts from htc messaging software solves this :-? (maybe by deleting all SIM contacts)

Those are in brackets, it has to be showing the number of unread messages in the green.

Have you opened each message from them individually?
It does mean the number of unread messages, opening that conversation for a coupel of seconds SHOULD remove the icon.
