Clock Issues on new Qtek 2.17 Rom - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Hey..
I updated to the new Qtek 2.17 rom yesterday...
It works like a charm for me at the moment(tried the 2.8 test rom and then converted back to 1.7 qtek rom)
I'm aware of the clock issue(clock being replaced by battery Icon) and really am fine with it.
What is a pity though, is that I can't seem to find an app that will shoy the clock on the tray, instead of on the top bar.
Does anybody know of such an app?
And is there maybe a way to add the clock to the top bar, even when you are in the home screen?
Is there a way to edit the today screen plugin for the clock to not show clock and date on two lines like it is doing with me now?
Otherwise, tho rom works stable, but didn't tinker with it much....

Try Wisbar

Thanks for the tip, but I am currently running Magic Button, and am very pleased with that.
I don't want to install Wisbar, because of the extended features.
I am really looking for a very simple app, that just lets me put the clock in the tray at the bottom of the screen(initray) and not on top.
Thanks though!!!!

Maybe you should browse Vijay's site, I think there might be one there.

Nope, can't find anything on VJ's site...
Anyone else got a clue? :?: :?:

You need to use iLauncher 2.2 for the icons to be picked up:
http://www.sbsh.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=6191
to get the top battery bar enabled u have to goto iLauncher Settings then Options then select what u want at the top,in this case Today Screen Meter Bar.
Hi Eagle, nice desktop.
Which calendar do you use?
latest build of WA2/WAD w/ flooter skin

icons & time displqy

The first thing I did with my T-mobile MDA Pro was upgrade to the latest imate release (thanks to all here for their help).
I am having problems with the icons on the top of the display. I do not get a time display, or a wifi icon or a bluetooth icon. Also, other icons overzrite each other so it looks a right mess!!!
Has anyone else had this and is there a fix or software package that gives you all the icons plus they line up properly at the top of the display?
Thanks,
Mike
How impatient am I????
Any ideas?
Could you post some screenshots?
What upgrade process and roms did you use?
Are you using VGA hacks?

thanks for the reply, how do I do screenshots?

Need help with themes, clocks etc...

Friends,
Consider me a nerd while reading this post. I have gone through a lot of stuff about themes and customizing TF3D that I'm now confused !!! Hope you should be able to help me out.
I own a HTC Touch Diamond "UNLOCKED" version which I bought in US. I'm not aware what it is or similar to - Telus/Rogers/etc...My Rom ver is 1.93.422.4 WWE and Radio ver is 1.00.25.08
1) I've read somewhere that themes cannot be used with ROM ver 1.93. Is that true ? If yes, is there a way to get around this ?
2) I would very much like to remove the big flip clock from my home screen. I read that it is possible only through installing an analog clock. Is that limitation true ? How can I achieve removing the flip clock without using an analog one and If yes, Can I revert back to flip one easily ? If I have to install the analog one to get this done, can I still revert to flip one ?
3) How can I remove call history and calendar from home screen ? Basically, I would like a clean desktop on my device.
4) Is there a manual on using the Manilla editor and customizer apps ?
Thanks for your patience,
Kunal
you can use themes with your ROM, just install TF3D config. It will work fine.
for the clock, have you tried just sliding your finger up on the today screen? That brings up a much smaller digital clock. There is also a thread on here just for clocks that has some really nice looking ones in.
There are cooked ROMS that will give you a clean today screen, but then i think you will lose the rest of TF3D, and flashing a cooked ROM will also void your warranty, if its still valid on an unlocked device anyway.
As for your last one, im not sure tbh!
Thanks for reply Shaady

I already have TF3D Config. But haven't used it to set themes since I didn't have themes anyway ! Thanks for clarifying.

Actually, I just want a clean screen, no flip, no small digital clock and no call history + calendar either. So, you're telling me I can't remove clock unless I install an analog clock. But will that allow me to revert to flip clock ? Is there something like changing themes applicable for clocks too, so I can change at will ?

Clock link problem

Hello,
I have a little problem, if I click on the clock on the home panel of Touchflo tf3d is just restarting instead of showing the clock & alarm settings.
Anyone knows how to change that link ?
I'm using EnergyRom 3.0 with TouchFlo3D2 Rhodium.
I have the same problem - anyone know what is going on?
Bump...anyone - Bueller.......Buelller......................Bueller?
I have no direct solution.. but.. do you restore your PIM(conacts, messages, calendar, tasks) with SKTools (Backup) ?
I have the same problem too. When I used TF Detacher, this took me to the today screen which I liked. However, I have since uninstalled this programme and use Second Today instead. I would like to assign the clock on TF to go to the Second Today screen if this is possible. I know someone may suggest SMPAHO (or something like that) but I never really understood that programme!!!!
This actually happens for me either when
A) I install a cooked ROM with a custom clock - i.e. Deep Shining or NRGRom
b) I use Manilla Customizer to change the clock on either a clean cooked rom or an offical rom.
This appears to be a problem with the way the custom clocks are compiled.
