Hotmail - Downloading a message failed - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

I seem to have a recurring problem with my hotmail account.
Fairly frequently I get the message "Downloading a message failed. If you are reading it, please close the message and try again" when I do a Send/Receive. Only way to get rid of this error seems to be to Switch Accounts and essentially setup Hotmail again and download all of my messages from scratch. Sometimes works for a while but then eventually get this error or sometimes seems to do it immediately. Seems more common after I delete a bunch of messages. Makes Hotmail pretty useless. Have no problems with my own POP email account.
Any ideas?

Anyone else have this problem?

I've just started having the same problem. anyone know how to correct this?

More mail problems

When retrieving my mail from one particular account it can only get the headers. When it goes to 'Receiving folders' it just hangs there for ages. My other e-mail accounts are fine. Any ideas?
I have the exact same problem. Have you found a "cure" for this? Funny thing is that it's been fine and randomly kicked in, yet the incoming e-mail comes from my dedicated server, so nothing has changed there.

Hotmail Issues

Hey,
I set up hotmail with the email client on my recently installed 1.41ADP G1. It seems to have problems when setting up with 3G, but works fine on wifi. Is it possible to make it work without wifi? Says error connecting to TSL or smt. with the outgoing server.
When it's loading my mails, suddenly 10 or 20 new empty mails are shown, no names, no subjects and all at the same time. Happens almost everytime when I open the email client. When I open it, the mail gets stuck at loading. Somehow they delete themselves, probably during synching I guess, but takes a long time.
This also happens with some of my own mails. Totally random. Maybe the empty ones with only attachments.
Also when I hit to load new messages, it stops and says retry or connection error. Usually when I'm on 3G. I can send mail just fine when I'm on wifi, but on 3G it seems not to work or maybe it just needs time.
Anyone having problems with this? I don't use hotmail alot on my G1 and I experience these problems just recently. Maybe there were already problems like this before.
Just a random thought, dont use hotmail. or just divert them to a gmail account.

Problem downloading email messages

Hi All,
I have the following issue with outlook mobile (with several ROMs) set to synchronize (direct push) with an Microsoft Exchange server.
I've set it to download only the headers and the first 5KB of the message's body.
For messages larger than 5K, I have to go and tap the "download the rest of the message" link. However, the outlook client get stuck in "Downloading..." message and nothing happens. If I cancel the download (by just closing the message window) the message just disappears from the Inbox folder on my phone.
Going to the exchange Inbox from my PC the message is still there (so it wasn't deleted), but there is no longer in my phone's Inbox.
The workaround I've found so far is to set the mobile outlook to download the entire message's body. However, this is not good for the data bill (especially when roaming).
Please help
Thank you
Anyone experiencing this?
Have you tried moving that particular message to another folder and see if the problem happens with another message?
Sometimes a message gets corrupted. I have a problem with a e-mail in my laptop's outlook. Went into webmail and moved it and everything else worked fine. I opened it in webmail, copied the contents and deleted the e-mail.
Will try. So kind from you. Thanks

Anyone else having problems logging into hotmail?

for some reason it is giving me an error message. It's an error message on the hotmail page, but won't go into my hotmail for some reason. I sign out and back in and same thing.
Mine seems to be working.you try logging in through live.com?
I did and it worked, but it's bascially the actual full screen view, so it's really small and not quite interpreting it well.
I just setup hotmail as an exchange account
Works great.
