Hi all,
To allow study of Wizard ROM, could any kind people dump the file of Wizard WWE using the TestWM5.exe attached in the post above (have to login to see the file) to dump the ROM to MiniSD Card?
The steps are actually quite simple:
1. Extract TestWM5.exe from TestWM5.rar and place it to you Wizard.
2. At the Wizard, use File Explorer to execute the TestWM5.exe
3. Click "button1" to start the dump process, the file will then be save to \Storage Card\Dump\
4. Copy the Dump folder out and then RAR or Zip it
5. Upload to ftp://xda-developers.com/Uploads/Wizard/ using account "xdaupload" with passwd "xda"
Thanks in advance!
Hi, i have updated my device to the mr. clean image.
Now i have to install all software. So i create a folder on my storage card with all necessary cab files.
Is there a possibility to have them all be installed with one click? For example to create a Batch to install them one after another?
Hope not to ask silly questions.

try this;
example;
This '\Storage Card\2577\autorun.exe' is an official M$ way of autolaunching programs from SD card, well described in MSDN...
If you put calc.exe into this folder and will rename it to autorun.exe, it will be automatically launched upon inserting this SD card in. So your calculator will pop up...
make a folder in the root of the sd card called [2577] put the cab files into the folder ,reboot the device .it should install,
alternative; use the autorun from the extended-rom to launch the files.you my need to do some editing intiothe config file.
Thanks - how can i "see" the extended rom? Editing a config file is no problem for me.

Problem is...all your CABS will be installed to their default installation directory (mostly Main Storage).
What I would like to know is how to make all CABS install to the Storage Card or a directory specified in the config.text?
Can someone help me please!
I want change the programm install folder name from
\Programme to \Program Files and
\speicherkarte to \Storage Card\Program Files.
i was able to change the Speicherkarte name to Storage Card.
But Programme to program files??
Hi,
you can change this with a cab manager.
wfg
Starbase64
I want to change it in the ppc. So that every software that i install, to go to \program Files
or Storage Card\program files.
I know what you say, but i don't want to change every cab.
Is there any way to do that?
What Rom do you have ? If you have a engl. WM6 Rom like Gullum, or Claudia
then you have the Folder Storage Card and Program Files. If you have a German like Animelover you have Speicherkarte und Programme. The cab is to renam Storage Card to Speicherkarte. I don`t know what you mean.
I have a german rom. Device XDA Orbit 2.
I want to change Programme to Program Files on ppc.
So that every install to go in \Program Files or Storage Card\Program Files.
Now is \Programme and Speicherkarte\Programme.
Ok?
Did the previus cab do that?
No, this cab do this otherwise. But why do you want on a german rom the Folder named programs and not programme ?
hi.. i download a few program for my nike.. all in winzip files.. so how i want to install to my nike? using sync? memory card? tq..
The files inside the zip's should be cabs - extract these, stick them on your SD Card & put back in the phone, browse to the file with File Explorer & just click the file & hopefully it should launch. Some cabs require a reboot after installation so don't be surprised if it asks you to do i
thanks bro.. find some zip file contains exe icon.. but some zip files does't support by winzip.. so cant open it..
.cab - should be open on PPC
.exe - on Desktop (sometimes on PPC)

same question , I want to the evo 4g keyboard with arrows for Froyoseries v3.2 but no help
i did this with the droid X keyboard. on the build with the keyboard that you want, use linda file manager and go to (under "my phone")
/system/app
copy the app named "LatinIme" (ive also seen it named "LatinImeGoogle")
paste that into a new folder named NEW_KEYBOARD on your sd card
go to
/system/lib
copy the file named "libjni_latinime.so"
paste that into the same folder as the app
Now on new build: repeat the previous steps, BUT PASTE THE FILES INTO A COMPLETELY NEW FOLDER (in case this doesn't work you will have the original files)
after doing that, you can safely paste the files from the NEW_KEYBOARD folder on your sd card into the appropriate places (LatinIme.apk goes into /system/app
and libjni_latinime.so goes into /system/lib)
replace/overwrite files.
if this fails then place the old files back and you should have the build's keyboard back.
