USB HDD Emulator Software?

Hi
I seem to remeber having USB HDD as an application on one of the XDA Exec roms I was running.
I want to know if I can get that application for my XDA Orbit.
I see its in loads of roms but I just want the app without a full rom.
Help anyone?
P.S. Already tried WMstorage.
Thanks
Thom
what is wrong with this ?

Using Softick Card Export II v2.20 - Works fine!

X-Button and WM6.1

Does anyone else have problems getting the X button 2.0 app to run on the new Windows Mobile 6.1? The older version still works, but I would rather use the new version. Thanks.
not sure, but the htc tast manager plugin works very well, does the same thing your looking for.

And i thought i was the only one having this problem. i asked the same question in the dcd's titan rom 2.1.0 thread and everyone there seemed to have no problems with it. I'm still looking for a solution as i would like to have the newest version of x-button. DCD just upload another rom (2.2.0) which has the final build of WM6.1. I'm going to give this a try and let you know the results.
UPDATE: Just flashed to dcd's titan rom 2.2.0 and x-button 2.0 works!
i bellieve there is a newer version that has not been cabbed yet. the 2.0 on the leaked rom supposedly fixes the "ok" close button issue.
I prefer 1.5 though, much faster, and when combined with trask manager seems to work really well.
Task Manager
I updated my XV6800 to DCD's ROM's. First the 2.0, 2.1, and then 2.2 and the X-button always worked. But if you guys need the X-Button I will provide it for you. I hope it helps out.
if i have task_manager_2_0_30995 is this a old faulty version?
Or is there a better / more useable version out
I'm using 2.2.0 and x-button 2.0 still doesnt work for me. I even downloaded the cab file posted above....only difference is now I have two task manager icons...one under programs the other under settings...both do the same thing (show programs, processes, memory) Definitely not the same thing as the leaked rom.
both also do not show the comm manager. I have been sticking with 1.5 cause of that and its faster.
I had the same problem using x-Button. It kept giving me a shell execution error, and then would freeze the phone.
I ended up hard uninstalling and adding the HTC Task Manager, and BAM! no more problems.
Can someone post a link to the HTC task manager? Thanks!

See attached.
I finally got x-button 2.0 installed. It turns out I had to install 1.5 first...then reboot. After boot I installed 2.0 ontop of it. Now it works.

WKTASK problem

My WKTASK Cannot Save My Exclusion setting
When i set my setting it works fine BUT when i restart my WM6.5 the setting gone
Can anyone help me
Thank In Advance
firstly, WRONG SECTION! >_<. Secondly, what version of WKTASK are you using? If its an older version try uninstalling and using a newer version. Newest version is 1.2 i think.

Yes I am using ver1.2
WKTask is the best task manager. But I've ever encountered problem that make me have to hard-reset. After that, everything went fine. Maybe Wktask is not fully compatible with 6.5 yet?
WKTASK Runs on WM6.5.. the only real issue that users have with WKTASK is that it closes their start menu permanently.. but regardless it should still run and retain its settings in 6.5. Try the attachment.. if it doesnt work for you try a hard reset or a different rom.
Actually even that issue has ben resolved already here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=509160
And if you cant save that, I can give you a regkey that adds that exclusion automaticly. Use with Resco explorer or any other tool that accepts .reg files.

Clockwork rom manger

Hi another noob question from me I'm using clockwork to flash rom's and backup no problem but can I use the rom manger app because I've tried it and wants to install recovery but when the list pops up the hd2 is not there so is it a case of no go on the hd2 or install under another phone model thanks in advance for any help
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA Premium App
I selected HTC Desire HD & it works perfectly thus far, all I really do is install from ZIP and backup before hand which saves a lot of time & effort
Once the HD2 is officially supported and what not on the ROM Manager application then I'll purchase it.
If you are using cLK/CWM, you can use ROM Manager to backup and install ROM. MAGLDR/CWM doesn't have this function yet.

ROM Manger Premium

Hey guys i've got two questions. Firstly, when i try to backup my current rom, using rom manager premium, it gets stuck on the vodafone screen and i have to take the battery out to restart the phone. How do i get it to work?
Secondly, in rom manager premium, i don't see any new roms for the phone, other than the ones i use to see in the free one? Oh and is Roalex rom a good one, because i can see that one in rom manager so i might install it, and is it stable?
Thanks, hope to hear from someone soon.
