I do have a problem with MDA Vario (from T-Mobile-Austria):
Syncronisazion with Outlook subfolders does never finish.
Rom version: 2.16.9.1 WWE
Rome date: 2/6/06
Radio version: 02.07.10
Protocol version: 413.1.03
ExtRom version: 2.16.9.101
ActiveSync version: 4.1.0 (Build 4841)
Anybody else tried? Solutions?
Maybe anybody can help?

PS: I tried also with encreasing the processor with OmaClock, but no resolts.

Only solution I have found is a soft reset of the device. After a while I've found that this too is not enough and a re-install of active sync as well as a hard reset has to be done with the MDA...
From apearance, (IMHO) it seems Microsoft has a glitch in Active sync and have been trying to fix this since Active Sync 4.0....
Aditional note, I've been having problems with syncing anything in Outlook Calander from the computer to the MDA. I can sync the new entries from the MDA to the computer....
Anyone else having these issues or the slow down issues "WITHOUT" microshaft outlook installed? (not outlook express, outlook)

I am using Outlook 2003.
The sync does work fine with:
- Contacts
- Calendar
- Tasks
- Notes
- Favorites
- :?: But it does not work with the sync of :?: E-mail subfolders :?: = it never stops.
Has anybody else tried???
Any help is very much appriciated !!!

Not showing Name of contact while receiving a call!?!
I have a Qtek s100 and recently update it to ROM vs 1.12.00 WWE ROM Date: 05/28/05; Radio Version: 1.1200; Protocol Version: 1337.42; ExtRom: 1.12.119 WWE. Does anyone knows why does sometimes when I receive a call from someone on my contact list it only shows the number insted of the name?This only happens sometimes, Is this some kind of a bug from this rom vs? I have i-mate JAM with the same ROM... and I'm facing the same problem after I made the upgrade.. :? may next ROM will fix this, at least I hope so.. cheers

HTC Universal problem with Pocket Outlook - PLEASE HELP!!!

Pocket IE problem after ROM Update
I applied the ROM update, and everything seems OK, except PIE. I get the message "The address is not valid. Check the address and try again." I can connnect to my POP3 server, I can use Skype, I just can't view a web page. Have tried WiFi, Passthru and GPRS/UTMS. When I try GPRS/UTMS, it doesn't even try to connect to look for a page. I've tried www.google.co.uk, news.bbc.co.uk, and many more, but with no luck. Anyone come across anything similar? Hmm.. Did that solve it for you Guru? I don't see it having any effect. Yep so I have changed it and nope, zero, nil, null.. same error all the time. All other apps work fine. Been hammering for over a month over this. All I could conclude without much guessing as it is all over the place, upgrade or no upgrade it is simply not accepting the protocol I believe. If you try out the 'about:' type as in about:blank URL that pluggable internet blx yeah it works. Wonderful, blank page.. Anything with http:// on it, I see we should ignore and send the device to the cleaners.
Are you O2 contract or Pay as you Go?

Hello : I have a Kjam : Rom version: 2.16.9.1 Radio version: 02.07.10 ExtROM version: 2.16.9.101 I try do sync with my corporate exchange server 2003 sp2 using gprs and gives me a sync error - error 85010014. Im using the same setings that my coolegues at work. My user and pass are correct. What can be wrong ? Thnks a lot
