Before updating my TMobile HD2 via goldcard I would like a backup for the original TMobile ROM. Does such a thing exist and if so can anyone give me a link to the ROM ?

Thanks! The only problem by now is that both links are for premium users...
there are a set of tools available under "itsutils" these tools allow you to back up ur rom...you'll need to find instructions they prob under blackstone rom section

I too have a T-Mobile UK HD2 but a tad nervous hearing some problems in another thread. I would be grateful for any positive news from a T-Mobile UK user!
downloading it now...where did you get it from...its not on t-mobile site or in there forums..although i'm currently using 1.6 rom via goldcard
Just got the HD2, its unlocked and being used on AT&T network. I need to install the cab files to get the MMS working right. Do I need to change the ROM to a different one? I know its the original one. What else do you guys recommend I do/change on it? Should I do any of the updates from the HTC support site? I'm reading the stickys now. Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, best thing you can do is read all about flashing and flash a new ROM and Radio.
Correct me if I'm wrong, it's the US version? If so, don't touch any of the ROM updates on the HTC site. They contain a x.x.51.x radio and it will brick the US version.

Hopefully this can be sorted quickly and pain free. The HTC UK site seems to have taken down it's Support pages? Please check and tell me if i'm loosing my marbles? lol
But anyway, regardless of this, I need the latest O2 Stock ROM, which since they seem to have taken this off the HTC website, I need a link to download outside of them...
Anyone able to help me out?
