I have a vodafone universal v1640 with pocket plus and pocket informant.
There is a touch link at the bottom left of the screen for 'phone' but when i touch it it opens the calendar.
There is a touch link on the bottom right of the screen for calandar and this correctly opens the calendar
If i press the green button for the phone on the side of the case that goes to the phone dialler and if I press the green phone button on the top left of the keyboard that goes to the phone dialler.
How can I correct the touch 'phone' link on the screen to launch the phone.
Thanks
Steve

I'm running an XDA2 with the 02 1.60.00WWE ROM with ExtROM 1.60.50. However I seem to be unable to use the scroll button on the today screen at all. I'm sure I used to be able to do this on my XDA1 and possibly on an older ROM version of the XDA2.
This is very annoying as it means that I can't use the today screen with one hand but need the stylus to scroll down the page. The scroll button works as normal on all other apps.
Anyone out there with the same problem.
Thanks, Hasnain
if you by scroll botton mean the down on the action key then that have never worked like that on my xda1 or 2
if you mean the scroll botton as in the small button on the screen under the scroll bar then that have always worked for me
I mean the 'oval' button between the answer and end call buttons below the screen.
thats the action button
and that never scrolled the today screen on my xda1 or 2
I just flashed Open Touch 5.0 onto my T-Mobile Wing. The flash went perfectly and I've started some customization to make it look and work how I want, but I have a few questions for those who have used Open Touch before (this is my first time. I was running TouchIT before).
I do not have the start menu/bar at the top of the screen. It is there because I can hit it with the stylus if I tap the very very top edge of the screen. If I open the slide, the start bar appears, but then everything on HTC Home is skewed to the right when I close the slide.
Also, there is a bar underneath the HTC Home plugin that has a button for the calendar, one for file explorer, one for phone, and one for contacts. Is there a way I can move/remove that?
Any suggestions?
Thanks for any help, guys!
Nevermind on the bar with the buttons for the calendar, etc. It was BatteryStatus and I didn't realize it
i'm in a phone conversation, and someone asks me if I'm available on a certain date, i would want to check my calendar to see if i'm available.
i wanted to do this yesterday but after looking for more then a minute (while the call was open) i gave up.
does anyone know how to do this or even if it is possible???
(so open my calendar during a phone conversation)
pin it to the start menu
push hardware home button. then hit calendar on home screen. hit call hardware button or phone status in task bar on touch screen to get back to dialer screen.
I have the calendar in the start program. Everyone by default also has the "Today" on line one of the start menu, which will minimize the phone, take you to home screen, and allow you to open Tasks (or in your case, calendar). Finally, use the close button (X in upper right) to close the phone. It doesn't disconnect the phone.

thx for the replies guys!
So on a touch diamond, there's the middle button. (In the middle of nav pad)
I would like to know if it is able to configure the key so that when you press it, it brings you back to the home screen, just like how the iphone works.
Sorry for my bad english.
Melvin
pressing the upper left button with the homesymbol takes you directly to the homesscreen
But i would like to configure it so that it closes all running programs and return to the home screen.
Thanks for the help anyways.

I'm not able to find the option for one-touch dialing. Is it not possible to do in the 6.5 ROMs?
I believe the feature you're looking for is called Speed Dial. Try these steps:
1. Press the "Phone" option (or the leftmost button on the bottom of the HD2) on the bottom left of the home screen.
2. On the next screen, press the "Menu" option on the bottom right of the screen
3. Choose the option "Speed Dial"
4. On the next screen, choose the "Menu" option at the bottom right of the screen to setup a new Speed Dial number
I'm running Spb Mobile Shell and so there isn't a Menu button in your Step 2 but on a lark after reading your instructions I pressed to the left of the OK button in far right corner along the bottom, and a Menu popped up with Speed Dial in it. Thanks for your help!
No problem, and you're welcome.
