Anyone know Bluetooth text message program? - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 General

Hi,
Do searching already, but can't find what I want.
So this is my chance to find the correct program (or trick).
I like to have program in magician to let me send text (or sms) via bluetooth to any device (handphone, sonyericsson w800i prefered). And vice versa, handphone send text (or sms) to magician.
Is there such a program (or trick)?
Thx.
Regards,
Arto.

Also i am interested to that... There are a lot of ppc apps (ie BuZZone or Mobiluck) but these programs need to be installed on other devices.
All i need is a software that use OBEX File transfer to send TXT message (and others) without a particular app installed on the other device.
I've found two softwares but they doesn't work with my magician! (pocketbluechat and btchat)
Has anyone any idea?

try resco with pocket notepad
Hallo,
I habe the Resco Explorer 2005 v 5.22 (File browser) and when you select a file it has a pop up menu with a send to option and you can send anything (picture, music or anything else) to e-mail recipient, bluetooth recipient infrared recipient and more.
The only broblem is that the other phone haas to be compatible with the type of file you want to send. i just installe the Pocket notepad (text editor like windows notepad) and you can have txt files. i have to try the compatibility of txt files with other phones.
Consernig Resco explorer, only the version 2005 has the "send to -> bluetooth recipient" option. the previous (2003) has only for infrared.

Sublimobi mobile software worked for me. Check www.sublimobi.com. It is a free bluetooth chat
plus rss news reader

Thanks for quick reply.
Well I know a lot of people are using their pda's and cell phones to send msg's, files etc via bluetooth.
On pda's it's quite easy - just open bluetooth window and you can manage almost everything.
But on MDA 2 there's just "Blue tooth parameters" in control panel and that's all.
Well it's ok with handsfree, it works, but how to work with other devices?
Maybe there's kind'a application for this performance?
with beam you can already push and pop files back and forth between the xda2 and other bluetooth able devices
but text msg is another thing
if other people with pocketpc's got some std and some program it's just a matter of getting the program from them and putting it on the xda2 and it would work xda2 is a pocketpc like all other pocketpc's and share programs with them just like pc's can run the same programs
of cause maybe some of those programs would not work with ms's bluetooth that xda2 uses

You're right.
I've tried the program BuzZone (www.buzzone.net), but when it's being installed from PC to MDA2, there's appearing an error message on MDA screen at the end of setup: "Cannot find BT CE file" or something like that.
What is "ms bluetooth"?
it's the bluetooth stack that ms made that comes free with winCE
hp and other pda makers use a 3th party bluetooth stack which is much much much better
You can always send short messages in a contact's name field. This is known as 'bluejacking' - sending anonymous messages to strangers via Bluetooth.
For more information visit:
http://www.bluejackaddict.co.uk
This works!!
The title of the message is the Contact's name, The message itself is the Contacts Notes
How to:
Create contact with name / notes
Save
Tap it
Tools / Beam contact
Select the victim device
What we need is something like SMAN on the Px00 that could scan for 'victims' and automatically send the contact to them.
SMAN also logged succesful 'hits' - great fun for the supermarket!
bluejacking
one other thing that is needed desperately is some way of making sure that you only bluejack good-looking people not people that look like me

How'd you get the option to beam to bluetooth. Even with mine turned on I only can beam via infrared.
It should also say searching" whilst it scans for bluetooth receivers can take a couple of minutes to locate other phones

Saving SMS Messages in Memory Card

Is there any way to save SMS Messages in to Memory...
Like a notes with the Sender name or no. in it.
Since we dont have any backup prog to save our SMS it would be nice to have those messages saved in memory card to read later on.
At the moment I am copying them in each notes but Its not giving the senders info unless we enter them too...
But if we write Notes while we talk, we get that note under the person name itself... that way would be nice and easy to know which message is from who automatically.
Try the export or backup functions of smsOrganizer! You can find it at www.zedsoft.net

Does that SMS Organizer supports Windows 5.0 ?
sms organizer doesn't work for WM5
yeah unfortunately sms organizer doesn't work for WM5. :?
Try here www.jeyo.com
any chance that there will be an update for smsorganizer?
hollinshead,
Wow that was nice! too bad you just have to pay unlike smsorganizer, its free. But thanks that was a great help!
smsOrganizer v2.01 for WM2005
Try smsOrganizer v2.01 for WM2005 at http://www.zedsoft.net !
2.02 is out.
But it does not work with AKU3.x & above!
You can also try Jeyo Mobile Extender 2.0.
By the way, there is still a very primitive method call "copy & paste" from SMS (including the "To" & "From") into "Note" or "Word" or "Excel".
smsOrganizer for WM2005
smsOrganizer is now avaiable for WM2005!! http://www.zedsoft.net

Looking for a Freeware app (message syncing)

I'm looking for a freeware app that will connect the device, and allow me to read and reply to text & mms messages, email would be good too.
Does anyone know of such an app? Freeware is a must as its for work, I'd rather not put anything I've paid for on there
Cheers
I've found Jeyo Mobile Extender/Companion but not free.
Do any others exist?
I've been looking for one for a while (and I dont want it to be a stinking outlook plugin - why cant I just get a little app to run on the phone which copies the messages in a txt file or something?) and Jeyo is the only one I have found. It doesnt mean there aren't others (as it is clearly possible), just wonder who is holding out on us

Read and write messages on the PC through USB/Bluetooth

Hey
I have been searching for an application to install on my PC so that I can read and write text messages (SMS) on my Diamond when it is connected to the PC. How it should be connected is not really important but preferably by USB if possible.
In other words: A kind of message control center where you can manage your messages when you are at your PC anyways.
Any tips for such a utility?
Thanks in advance
M
YUp, I have this kind apps for china phone..MITO / COOLPAD ..it help a lot..so when you facing your laptop, while your diamond attach to it..you can send/received messeges (SMS). It really helps..!!
Thanks
I can really recommend Jeyo Mobile Extender that integrates with Outlook. You get an extra SMS folder and menu buttons for send/recieve, forward, manage sms on device.
http://www.jeyo.com/extender.asp
Thanks Blanco, but I don't think that will work for me.
First of all it is not free to use. Only for 15 days. Maybe I should have mentioned that but of course it needs to be freeware
Second of all I would prefer it if it wasn't a plugin for Outlook. I don't use Outlook and don't want to use it, so I really can't use that sort a thing.
But again thanks anyways
Any other ideas?
Try MyMobiler.
When the device is connected, you can use it with your Computer.
