Hi all,
I recently bought an MDA Vario and I'm interested in playing around writing stuff for it. Is it just a case of getting Visual Studio 2005? If not, what do I need?
Cheers!

I have today recieved my MDA Pro and am so far happy with it !
the one thing that i'm really need is though, is to be able to sketch notes / dimensions onto the photos i take on the PDA then email them on
Can anyone recommend something that will let me do this
Thanks in advance!
Does the HTC picture editor registry hack still work? That might help.
Otherwise, on the Magician Pocket Artist is great. Not sure if it's WM5 yet though.

I would like to ask the comments for the i-mate PDAL. Anyone using PDAL can suggest the performance because I want to purchase this phone. Many thanks!
Not really the WIZARD, is it? You might wanna repost in the correct section ...
Ouch! Thanks for advice. However, what is the classification of i-mate PDAL be?
None lol..a PDA ?

Hi there,
I'm new to this forum and have a question about Bluetooth Development on Artemis.
I'm developing a small J2ME Bluetooth application for my Artemis. The usual apps work fine with the Midlet Manager, but as soon as I use a bluetooth object like "LocalDevice" in my code the midlet manager can't even install the midlet ...
On my Sony Ericsson mobile phones it always worked ...
I'm asking that because I read that the Artemis is supporting the JSR-82 ...
Can anyone help me with my problem?
Thanks a lot!

1, welcome to XDA-Dev
2, as a rule of thumb, you will ALWAYS want to read my articles, even past ones. I've elaborated on this problem several times; most importantly, in the chart ( http://www.winmobiletech.com/092007MidletBible/CompatibilityAndMain.html ) of my MIDlet Bible; see the "JVM Bluetooth (JSR 82)" row in there.
To summarize: Unfortunately, currently, it's not possible to get BT support in any KVM on WM.
Thank you very much for your fast reply!
I will read your article, seems to be very interesting.
Do you know if I can you a different kvm to get it to work?
Thanx again!

Currently, impossible, sorry.
Thanks again!
BTW, there was an add-on for IBM J9 but it's been recalled in the meantime. I've discussed it at http://www.aximsite.com/boards/bluetooth-talk/209772-pocketpc-bluetooth-enabled-midlets.html
Is there currently a KVM for WM with JSR-82 support ?
Also is it possible to send/receive WM wireless modem AT commands in J2ME midlet?
Hi, could anyone help with a couple of questions. I've recently got the X1 on O2 and I'm completly useless with WM!
1: If you can can replace the O2 panels with the standard ones (Sony Ericsson and Google), how do you do it? (I've seen the thread for the Voda replacements but wonderd whether it would be the same process).
2: On all the demos that I have seen the panels can be navigated horizontally by scrolling on the touchscreen but I can't seem to get it working!
I'm sorry if these are me just being stupid but I need help!
Thanks in advance for the advice!
Hello everyone,
I really love all the work that people have put on here it really exceeds some of the stock themes you get originally on the Diamonds and I would really love the ability to install some of these wonderful themes.
I have recently acquired an O2 XDA Ignito for those of you who don't know it is the HTC Touch Diamond from O2. I have tried installing themes on there, but it appears it is not fully customizing the look as it appears in the screenshots.
I was wandering if this is because that it is a branded device and rom so there maybe some limitation in that respect.
Can anyone be kind enough to verify this and possibly if there is any solution..
Thank you very much in advance.
thanks for everyones help hmmm.
thanks for everyones help hmmm. i was being sarcastic if u didnt realise. for those looking for answers i did some digging around and found this youtube video illustrating how to use the tf3d config tool to install themes.
