Just to let folks know, Vieka's task manager is now WM5 compatible with neat icons, cool settings and a groovey battery/memory icon. For me its beats magicbutton and gspocketmagic. Freeware too! nice...

Hi there,
How do I go about hiding the standard task manager icon on the above task bar?
I've just installed pBar and it's confusing having both.
Also is there any way of changing the bottom two buttons on the today screen? At the moment i have them as calander and contacts which I rarely used.
Any ideas,
Thanks
Hi all,
does any one know a task manager similar to wktask, which shows currently running applications' icons in taskbar, but with transparent background?
I'm using wm6.5 rom on diamond and it has transparent taskbar by default, so using wktask messes the design.
i'm looking for either a modded htc task manager, or alternative task manager.
but whatever i manage to find doesn't suit my needs, or doesn't look good.
i need a task manager that works pretty much like the HTC task manager does in the today screen. but i need it to work like that everywhere.
the only one i could find that works like that is pBar, but it's button half overlaps other taskbar icons such as battery/time.
and it keeps displaying "start" which can't be added to the exceptions.
i see a lot of people recommend wktask, but that's a big no for me.
it moves the taskbar a few pixels away from where it should be, puts too much icons on my taskbar, and can't switch/close tasks through it's quickmenu.

Try Showcase by e-natives technology. Being developed daily but already a superb stable and finger friendly task manager/switcher

i tried it, but it's not very responsive for me.
often when i try to open the screen for switching windows, or if i try to close something, it just minimizes the windows because it doesn't register me touching the other 2 "buttons"

Poll Want a Titanium Taskbar ?
Don't think so. Have HTC TaskManager on the right and QuickMenu on the left, which has also a TaskManager integrated. And one more plugin in my already crowded Titanium....
Just my 5 cents...
more options is always better.
For sure. Neither HTC task manager nor Quick Menu work with the latest builds of WM 6.5.1 and it is highly doubtful that HTC Task Manager or Quick Menu will be updated until 6.5.1 is release.
I prefer a link to the build in task manager rather than duttys task manager since it seems like duttys task manager does not show all running tasks... But the icon for the build in task manager is ugly and low ress... is there any way to change this?
