Hello,
Just wondering if anyone else has a similar problem or knows how to fix this. About 60secs after turning my phone off it turns itself back on, but only briefly (about 10secs). Obviously this can be quite annoying - esp if it's in my pocket by this point and decides it wishes to call someone!

use any third party softwares like mem-maid and check you notification queue. Else check the background programs,processes that make your fone turn on..

I have the same problem! And I know the cause! It is hardware problem. Try to pull out your flashcard! See? Must be no turn-ons! If it so, I think you understand now, what the problem is...

this worked for me. (tnx Carty )
i had the same prob. that the device occasionally turned on by him self...wich can be very annoying... so i installed mem-maid... did only a full scan and clean with it... and now it's fixed... very strange, but it worked hehe
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum so please forgive me for any mistakes. I searched the forum but I could not find any related topic so I decided to post a new thread. Anyways, my tytn is new (2 weeks old) and sometimes hangs when going to stand by mode. I tried to dissable the "turn off devise if not used for.." option and turn it off (stand by) manualy by sigle pressing the power button. But guess what nothing happented!! I could not turn it on and I had to do a reset again. It is so annoying, I am missing calls, sms etc because my device hangs and stays off! Anyone experiencing the same problem? Is because the ROM version? (My ROM version is 1.18.255.3). How can I fix this problem? Thnx
I have occasionally experienced this problem and have tracked it down as a fault that only occurs when I have the wifi connection activated. I keep the wifi off unless in use the problem disapears. Hope this helps
wifi is off at all times. Actually I've never used wifi with tytn
Are you running Today plugins from memory card? One of the reasons Tytn hanging is related to that. Put these plugins into main memory until a future ROM is correcting this problem. Good luck!
I have also had this problem. Activesync was the culprit. I make sure I always close AS after syncing instead of minimising. In addition I delete the event that starts activesync (repllog.exe) in my notification queue. No freezes while on standby for almost a week now

What ROM are you using?
I had the same problem with pdaviet ROM, but now I´m using Tomal v7.6 and problem disapear

having a very frustrating problem my device will not go into standby.
so the screen is staying on and draining my battery..
any help would be appreciated to help me find out why this is happening.

I have had the same when i flashed a rom recently. at the end it was simple in my case.
backlight settings for batterypower were not activated.
go to start/settings/system/power
check there at backlight if dim and turn off options on battery are checked
thanks it worked.can't believe I didn't think of that. .
My phones autobrightness keeps turning on by itself. And I cant for the life of me diagnose the app or setting thats causing it.
If anyone has a solution please let me know.
