Hi all!
Yesterday I bought an XDA Exec PDA mobile and I've got a little problem with it. I can't sync with Vista.
I found a notification which says:
Note: Microsoft ActiveSync works only with Windows XP SP2 or earlier. If you have Windows Vista, your synchronization settings will be managed through the Windows Mobile Device Center. Windows Mobile Device Center is available through the Windows Mobile Device Center page.
If I know well I need ActiveSync to...sync. I've visited the "Windows Mobile Device Center page", downloaded the software and installed but nothing happened. I've already tryed to refresh the driver named...some kind of Adapter #2 (...) No matter. Still doesn't work.
I managed to install Windows Mobile Center but ActiveSync still cannot be installed.
Help, please!

Hi,
I am developing a VOIP Application for the Windows Mobile 6. I am getting a problem while running it.The problem is that when an incoming or outgoing call is done the voice is coming from the speaker phone not from the earpeice which should be the standard solution as per my application is concerned. Please tell me the solution to this problem so that I can program my application to use the earpeice instead of the speaker phone. Is there some API function call in the Windows Mobile 6 Professional SDK so that I can make it a genaral solution to all the windows mobile 6 professional devices. Also I can use the RIL Library for it but this component may not be necessary in each windows mobile 6 professional device as it is an optional component for the OEM and also Microsoft has made a strict licence policy to use it in the application. I dont know about the OSSVCS.DLL which someone has told me to use to accoomplish the task. Is this a integral component of the windows Mobile 6 Professional SDK. Can We use TAPI 2.0 API or Microsoft has put some restrictions on it also. Can I get some details from somewhere, Where I can get all the list of components of Windows Mobile which I can use in my application without licence Restictions. I am always confused in using some core libraries in windows mobile due to licence restrictions where can I know this info.
Please help me out to this.
Thanks in advance.....
Hi,
i have a question. Is there any other program than Windows Mobile Device Center which i could use?
I've found OxyCube but it doesnt work on HTC HD.

I'm not trying to be a wise guy... But I'm not sure what you are asking for.
If you want Nokia PC Suite - Google shows it available for free download, straight from Nokia. Your choice of World Region, phone model, etc...
But I sort of think you know that and have used it in the past???
Are you saying you have a different phone you need similar (to Nokia) software for???
I sort of doubt that a generic, one program covers all software will be as good as one from the OEM for your phone. It might be helpful to state which phone you are trying to manage.
pc suit for wm
this sofrware can work as pc suit for the windows mobile
Mymobiler is nice, but I like EveryWAN better. It's also free for the personal edition. You can do more things with it (file manager, etc.) and it just looks nicer IMO .

R.I.P. but..where can I download the update for the native application like Windows Live and for Office 2010? The only one I'm interesting for (the rest in market place was s*hit). So I can restore those apps anything I format my smartphone.
If any updates... then from Marketplace service installed on your Windows Mobile 6.5 phone (hd mini)
Windows Mobile 6.x Marketplace service will shut-down on May 9, 2012.
