Which of the cases did you get from Elite? Was it the flip or one of the pouches? I have my concerns that the pouch style from Krusell won't fit the K-Jam...
I have on each of 2 Krussel cases that fit the K-JAM fine.
A vertical pouch and a horizontal pouch.
In Krussel terms it is an S-Wide fitting.
And is exactly the same pouch as for the Sony Ericsson P800/P900 series phones.
Cheers.
Robin
Thanks very much.
Do you suffer from the screen rotation problem with the Krusell horizontal case?
Si.
I THINK I spotted it once but SIGNIFICANTLY better than the case that comes with the phone.
RObin
Did you get the Horizontic, the Platinum or the Horizontic+ and which dealer did you get it from?
Additionally, Krusell state that internal dimensions are 113 x 51 x 23...
The width (51) doesn't seem wide enough for the K-Jam...?
Si.
This is one of them.

and this is the other
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/4153.htm
Personally I use the second one a lot more than the first one.
Just feels better to me BUT I do change them depending on my mood.

Si.
Do you know what, your right.
HOWEVER they delivered the NEW STYLE.
I did notice the difference as I have one of the old ones but the belt clip were t attaches to the leather is broken.
I do prefer the new version.
Robin
So, to confirm, Mobile Fun delivered you this one...
http://www.krusell.se/productUni.php?productID=1436&category=27
And the K-Jam fits, despite the fact that it's wider than Krusell's stated internal width of the case?
Yup thats the one.
Was a tiny bit tight but freed up fine in a couple of days.
Robin
Cheers

Hi guys,
In case people haven't seen this one before. A uhm.. Case for the himalaya, it makes the device look more cool, and less nerdy i think. Better then the typical admin style ledercase.
Would love to use this one, too bad it's so expensive.

It is available for less elsewhere. I am using one that I paid 900 baht (18 euros) for in Thailand. JavoEdge sells them for US$28.95 (22.30 euros). If you buy one, be sure to get good screen protectors too. I use the Martin Field's Overlay Plus. Now if I could just find a way to get a commission from these guys!
i would get this one
http://zxpro.com/catalog/product_16...20_with_unbreakable_screen_cover_cat_325.html
i havent come across any screen protectors which was able to save the screen if the xda fell on a corner of a table or something
the pure silecon imho protects the part of the xda which is protected the most already

I had never seen that one before. Other than the belt clip, it looks great; and I'm pretty sure you can remove the belt clip. Part of my problem with belt clips is that people here will steal your phone off your belt. No sense advertising you have an expensive phone.
I got one of those silicone cases (not the one with the screen protector, the first one). Cost about £5 off ebay.
Re: Nice Silcone Cover
I too bought one of the silicon cases. Very happy with it apart from one aspect: with it fitted, the Himalaya will not fit on the Sync Cradle! It is just slightly too bulky. This means I have to repeatedly take the cover on and off and, even over a week or so, I can feel the cover is less 'snug' than it used to be. I suspect it is getting stretched.
I am in the market for a case for my k-jam does anyone have an aluminium case it looks from the sites that the front is totally clear is this a type of plastic or is it just open, if its plastic this seems perfect for what i want, i hate screen protectors but dont want my greesy ear marks on the actual device screen
Anyone confirm this for me
Thanks
Chris
Cases
Hi,
I've ordered a aluminium case from PDAir. The front contains a plastic window so your tft screen is safe. Alle buttons can be used normally while the wizard is in the case. Have a look at:
http://www.pdair.com/scripts/main/viewitem_v2.php?itemid=2196&pdaid=194
to find more information. And by the way shipping is for free.
Nico[/url]
Once you recieve it can you please let us know how much it adds to the length, width and height of the wizard?
hey,
i've had this for the last coupla weeks and let me tell you... it's a lifesaver!
i have dropped my precious kjam only once while it was in the case (on marble, too!) and it was saved.
if you love yours, get one of these. i don't trust a leather case as much.
ciao!
hey bartgomes and is it possible to keep carrying wizard in your pocket? i keep mine there and dont use this horizontal case that comes with it. I mean does it really increase size so it becomes uncomfortable?
regards
i also have one of the pdair aluminium cases and can highly recommend.
when in the case the dimensions are L-111mm,W-65mm and D-29mm.
it gives you access to all the buttons(except top 2 soft keys;IE and mail on mini s),sd card slot, stylus, usb port, headphones and the camera lens has a cut out.
its looks very smart and fits in your pocket a lot better than "the old ladies purse" that it comes with.
got mine off ebay last week from hong kong took about a week to arrive only £13.69. bargain worth every penny.
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/IN-Technology-Co
this is his shop but i cant see any more listed at the moment.
Try this ebay shop for Pdair cases for K-JAM
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Pda-Gear
and do a search for K-JAM .. at least they are UK based??

I have just bought one of these, and they come with a free screen protector.
All for just under £14.
Sweet.
I heard the phones were similar dimensions...
Kaiser is a little thinner and the controls are in slightly different places so most TyTn cases won't do very well with TyTn II.
If you need a good case Nutshell is IMHO the best of the best http://tuff-as-nuts.com/index.asp?PageAction=Custom&ID=10

You are pointing to pouches, wich is slightly different from CASE. You get one in the box anyway...
First TyTN case don't fit on the kaiser - I've tested 5 different ones.
And the bed news is - there no proper case anounced for kaiser

I just wanted to offer up helpful info on an alternative since the question was answered but the OP still needed a carrying solution, one better than the included horizontal pouch.
I visited my local Fry's Electronics yesterday & found a camera case that's just the right size for the Kaiser. The price is right at $6.99, and it doesn't add much thickness, making it good for pocketability. I keep my phone in my front pants pocket, so a thin case without a thick belt loop or hook is just what I need.
I'd prefer a custom fitted Piel Frama or Krusell, but they won't be available for a month or two -- in the meantime, the camera case will do just fine.
I am using a universal case from PDair and am quite happy with it. The phone fits fairly snug when new but after a few days of use, it becomes very comfortable to use.
haha funny how everyone is with AT&T in USA
I have the SEIDIO holster for my 8525 and my TyTN II arrived today. I am happy to announce that the TyTN II fits in this holster *almost* like a glove. The TyTN II is a little thinner .. BUT because the TyTN II and the holster have a rubber coating, it doesn't move. As far as i'm concerned it's a keeper!
Im using the palm polycarbonate case for the treo 680 it fits like a glove no rattling only problem is the palm logo on the outside
Hi, I'm looking for a silicon protection for my kaiser. Yesterday I drop my kaiser for my first time... It has 3 horrible body scratches now... the smooth surface is anything but scrached protected...
I'm now looking for some kind of protection. My first idea was to get a silicon protector, like those used for ipods... But I have not been able to find any....
Does any of you own one of those?
Any recomendation?
http://shop.brando.com.hk/prod_detail.php?prod_id=02247&dept_id=039&cat_id=0763
Thanks for the info!!!
Are u using one of those? Are u still able to use the HTC holder (The one included in the original HTC TyTN 2 box)?
Have u buy any other product from that website?
thanks !!!!!
I am not using it for the TyTNII, but had one for the P3600. Have ordered many products from that site.....no problems whatsoever. Still think Brando screen protectors are amongst the best you can find.
Has anyone seen a similar silicone case but with a plastic screen protector like that for the wizard?
- TKN
How the Brando works if we slide and tile the screen? Anyone can post a pic for this?
they sell it on ebay for $10 shipped
Hi,i've bought one for my trinity and it was very effective. So i command one ( Brando ) for my Kaiser.I've received it today and it's really a bad product, the protection fall all the time.So i continue to use my trinity silicon case.So don't buy this !
I've got one off eBay, maybe fake who knows, but it suffers exactly as Marcdu81 says. Its rubbish, falls off all of the time, on the Artimes, I used a silicon protector in cunjunction with a slip case, and was hoping to repeat that with the kaiser. Looks like the Seido super thin case is the only way, at ~£30 to the UK. I only paid £80 + contract for the kaiser so £30 is a lot for a case. I'll carry on hunting for a good and cheap case.
DO NOT BUY THAT!!!
It's a piece of junk just like everyone said. The best protection currently for this device is the Seidio rubberized case. I know it's pricey, but it's well worth it.
Trust me, I tried the cheap way and got that piece of crap from ebay. Do like I did and bite the bullet. You can get the Seidio rubberized case for a few bucks cheaper on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/724-Seidio-Rubb...ryZ20337QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Actually, once you get the Seidio case, the crappy silicone case fits much better when you use both at the same time.
do they sell the Seidio rubberized case without the hole for the second camera in the front? my tilt doesnt have the second camera.

Unfortunately, they don't... Yet. They say they MIGHT in the future but I wouldn't hold my breath. Believe me, the beauty of this case makes up for the useless hole.
Is this the one you guys are saying is crap? >>>http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=207883654&listingid=21964170&dcaid=17902
This is the one i have and it fits like a globe.

THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
But Anyway I have to second or third the notion about the Seido Rubberized Case. It stays on the Phone SO well and you can slide a tilt with ease. It's so awesome.
Thanks guys, I'm going to bite the bullet and get the Seidio rubberized case then. Hopefully there won't be problems with this rubber falling off!

and... i'll pay US$10 for such a case on ebay or some other B2C website...not very cheap...
I bought the Seidio rubberized slim case for my Tilt that I am pretty happy with. Now, I am looking for a leather case(horizontal or vertical) with a belt clip that would be large enough for the phone+seidio rubberized case.
I see many listed on EBAY meant for the tilt, but I am not sure if they would be a tight fit with the seidio case and most don't list dimensions.
If you have bought a leather case from EBAY or other sources that has worked for you with the Seidio Rubberized case, please send me a link.
Are there cases made for other larger phones/blackberry's that might work?
Thanks,
Oz

Hello,
I have a Seidio "hybrid" case, I found a Cellet case on eBay for about $9 and the sedio cased phone fits in just fine. It was a little tight at first but it broke in after a couple days.
There is one on eBay now from the seller I got mine from. Item number 270265549780.
I wanted to do the same thing and ended up buying the Hermes/8525 leather case with the elastic on the side. The Hermes case was slightly larger than the OEM Kaiser case.
My Kaiser with the rubberized case fits perfectly:
Hermes case:
http://store.wmexperts.com/htc-matte-leather-horizontal-pouch/4A185A3630A.htm
Thanks for the replies. I ended up buying the following cases, and will decide on one to keep:
The first one is the HTC 8925 Horizontal Case which was on sale for $14 at accesorypost.
I checked with another member who confirmed that it works well with the Seidio rubberized case over the phone.
The second one is the Monaco Leather vertical pouch. It seems pretty nice, and has the clip in the back. That was for $24.95
I'll report back once I get them.
Thanks
Oz

This is the same case that i use with both the 8525 and Tilt, i like it cause I can plug the home charger into it while they are in the case.
The HTC 8925 horizontal case is great. It holds the phone with the Seidio rubberized case, and it's a perfect fit. Best accessory i have purchased for my phone so far.
The Monaco vertical case looks very nice, and I wish it had worked out for me. But the Tilt with the Seidio case does not fit in the Monaco at all.
Also, the phone by itself is a very very tight fit inside the Monaco case.
My initial verdict on the Seidio case has changed. I was pretty happy with it during the first couple of weeks when I got it. After 2+ months of using it I don't think it was worth the money. The clips that are supposed to hold the case attached to the phone come off very easily(especially when the phone is in my pants pocket). The other day I noticed that one of the clips was broken, now the case is pretty much useless and it is off my phone...
Is this Seidio case designed in 2 pieces "clipped" together? Just curious as I was thinking of picking up one and wondering if it's worth it. It "looks" durable..
