Cheapest Replacement screen for Alpine

Like a twat, I have trod on my beloved XDA IIi and cracked the screen.
Does anyone know of anywhere on the internet I can locate a replacement screen kit. I am located in the UK, I have found one on Ebay for about £95.oo from Hong Kong, but I would prefer from UK and at a cheaper price cause I'm skint.

Many thanks, I have already located and bought one, now the problem is how do I open the case properly, I have removed the screws from under the battery including the T6 screw and it is not comming apart as required, I don't want to break anything, so I f someone could help with a step by step I would be grateful. Thanks

I got the screen from here, http://www.runpda.com/ , it cost £93.00
including shipping. But I got stung by customs for £38.00 Tax, rip-off, so it cost me £131.00 in total. I've bought from this part of the world before and not been charged by taxman, its just the luck of the draw.
Someone suggested this place in the UK, but I had already ordered, if anybody tries this one, post costs etc for everyone. Mobile Repair Centre in London. 177a North end road 0207 610 3103.
I've dismantled my XDA IIi and the new screen is in and she is working fine now, I'm so happy. Thanks to all

i need parts for my mda compact

hi i have an mda compact (magician) after a few accidents i got a new screen, facia, and other various parts. it was working fine till i lent it to a freind to go to university for a week. it came back fuzzy screen. i think it has somthing 2 do with the thing that holds the screen ribbon. any one have any idea where i could order one from. tmobile uk is no use. they don't know anything. i am willing to pay. so if u have a broken magician i would be willin to buy it for parts. (paypal) i am in uk so somebody from there would be handy. but worldwide is considered. please help. or if anybody knows where i can buy the ribbon from pm me. thanx sean

Does anybody know where can i get white/grey housing for Uni ?
In Wiki here is one which i like ... i am boring of my black scratched and very used cover....
Can anybody helps ? Or anybode can send it to me ? (Czech republic, Europe)

Check out Ebay, especially the ones for Vodafone branded equivalent of Uni, I believe they have the lightest silver of the lot. Next one is HTC, then JasJar with O2 being black. I personally prefer black O2 cover with blue key lights to my dark silver JasJar with red keylights, so I changed the housing and the keys The complete housing sell for around $45 USD with hinge sold separately.

Vodafone V1640, even. Someone on here was selling his and posted pics, so you can see the color of the housing, if you find the thread, that is.

[Q] htc legend display replacement?

hi,
i am going to replace the broken display on my legend.
i am not shure if i can make a mistake, ordering a display in hongkong via ebay.
what do i have to look for?
is there a difference between amoled and lcd displays?
can i be trickt into a wrong resulution?
if it says legend display is it automaticly the same produkt?

I would find a repair shop who can replace the screen for you. It'll probably be cheaper than buying a new one. But if you feel adventurous, check this page:

i've bought lcd+digitizer for htc legend from hongkong in ebay and everything perfect. it's an amoled one. xD

i was in the same boat .but today i broke down and had it replaced .
i think it was worth it in the end , since i dont have loads of money to add another mobile to my already bloated account .
