I have 19 googlemail (gmail) invites to give out and thought people on this board might like them.

That's fine but being the kind, caring and loving person that I am I thought it would be nice to offer them so anyone that hasn't got one yet could benefit.
What do you do with your 100 invites each day??? WASTE THEM RATHER THAN SHARE THEM ?? :evil:

I still seem to be one of those few people who still don't have Gmail. But I would like to try it. It would be fantastic if somebody could share it with me. All I need would be one invite! ;-)

i also have another 100 if anybody wants one, i dont actually use it, so these just accrue without my knowledge. i dont have any friends, so nobody to give them to any and all going anytime anywhere anybody wants one.

Bah when I found out [email protected] wasn't an allowable addy due to having too few letters I told em where to stick their crappy email.

Google Wave

So I thought since we had a thread in the application forum about Google Wave, with people asking for invites left and right, that I would make a thread were people could post their google wave name and every one could talk about android and w/e..
Please do not ask for invites, just post your google wave name here. If you wish you can go ahead and add something like: "I have x amount of invites left, pm me to get one"

Ok cool, so far we only have one other person ... Also, just so people know I am going to invite all the people who post there Wave info here to one wave. That way everyone can talk to everyone.

Ok added you, and try click on all in the left navigation pane. You might find invites there

I heard it could take a week or more before you get invites to give out. But I don't really know because I can't even remember where I heard that.

I think it depends on how you got invited to wave and whether or not google even decides to give them to you. I've been using it for over a month and dont have invites to send out. But I also know people who have had the ability to invite after being on wave for less than a day.

We have a long list of people who have either signed up for an invitation to Google Wave, or who have been nominated by a friend to get a Google Wave account. Unfortunately, we aren't able to pass out invites as fast as the nomination list has grown, so we're not currently adding more people to our waiting list.
As soon as we're confident that the system can accept more users, we will add a wave to your account that allows you to nominate friends and colleagues for an account. Once you have the capability to invite people, the wave appear in your inbox.
If you've already received an invite wave (you have seen it before in your inbox), you can search for "invite others to google wave" to find it. If you're out of invites, please bear with us as we work to add more people to the system. Once you've been given the capability to nominate more people, your invite wave will again appear in your inbox as an unread message.
You can always add to your Contacts list people who already have Google Wave accounts. Learn more about adding contacts.

I just got an invitation after asked in Engadget forum.
And that was AFTER I read that Google closed the invite.
Now, for the stupid me, I cannot and I dont know how to invite other people
If I cannot invite FROM my G+, why I got an invitation after I knew Google closed the invitation.
Grrr ... cannot figure this out ...

Invites actually closed? I'd love to check it out if anyone was willing and able. Either way thanks to anyone who was generous enough to give invites out
So guess invites are closed. Again thanks to those who did share, or offer before they went down.

Invites didn't close all at once it seems. Mine closed well before other peoples. I have a feeling they will open up invites again soon, but limit how many people you invite just like gmail was at beta launch(and still is technically).
I don't know where it will be when the invites come back but to invite before there was a button right below the "go mobile" link for the app on the lower right side of the screen.
But don't worry fellow xoomers, when invites open again I will do my best to get as many of us in as I can

It seems i was also late If anyone can still send out invites, i would really appreciate one. Please PM me, i don't want to post my email publicly.
If i get in, i will return some invites to XDA members.

It seems this doesn't work anymore, at least not for me. Someone shared something with me, i didn't get a invite and i can't sign up. I only can see what that someone posted, nothing else.

just noticed you have a xoom and a sensation - lucky bugger - that's what combo I'd like but will remain with my Desire due to low funds for the foreseeable future (probably till end of the year)

Yes, Xoom and Sensation look good together. But i have had my share of problems with the Sensation, before you buy it, check the Sensation forum!
I didn't expect to get so many PM's that fast, i will try to send the invites now. If you can join then don't forget to click Thanks.

Can anyone PLEASE invite me ? I need an invite for a University project we are working on.
I had an invite but when I clicked on it it says this:
"The Google+ project is currently working out all the kinks with a small group of testers. If you're not able to access Google+, please check again soon."

They don't take new people anymore. Even if you get invited, no new registration are allowed. We all have to wait until they let new people in.

So please, dear admin, close this and all other g+ invitation-threads as soon as possible..
My opinion: Users, who create threads like that (and they all know that its totaly ot) should be blocked from the forum for 1-3 days!

I know this dont have to do with Archos at all, but i want to give you the chance to get Google+
Many people around here are Google Fanboys, so i thought, you might are interested
If you dont know what Google+ is, please watch this video:

G+ is better XD
Now, the non-troll version:
Google+ miss just one thing, the people on Facebook.
But it has everything else, the video chat is better, the contact managing is so much better (<3 circles) i just want to quit facebook (when G+ will be released ^^)

I delted my Facebook account just this morning
I think G+ is much more clear than FB, isn it?

g+ is much better than facebook.....more privacy, better contact management, .....

I would appreciate an invite to google+
I think Facebook assumes I want to share everything with everyone, which is not the case.

Sure you can add me to the first post.
I quit Facebook over a year ago. It was all just too much going on. Plus I didn't like the fact that my whole life story was online in one place where you never really know whether what you put up is private, cause they keep changing the rules.
I like the fact that you can really segment the people you know on G+ into groups so that you don't get overwhelmed. I had 300+ friends on Facebook, 285 of whom I barely said two words to in the last 10 years. I don't need to see everything they write every 15 minutes.
I mean, the jury is still out on G+ of course, but so far I like what they're trying to do.
Edit: Guys, don't forget to give your email when you PM. Also don't forget to thank whoever gives you the invite.
