italian rom....

I saw on a forum on www.xda-italia.com that there is an image of a QTEK 1010 from TIM (Telecom Italia) going around. Is there a chance to have it on an FTP site available to the community?

L'ho chiesto perchè in molti forum di lingua inglese si irritano se vengono usate altre lingue... spero non sia il caso di questo forum.
Partiamo dalle ose semplici... ci conviene smaniare per ottenere una rom in italiano? Mi giungono voci su alcune mancanzze che avrebbe la nazionalzzazione italiano del sistema operativo... sapete nulla dei tipi di input (software ivviamente..) di cui dispone?

Well, I think it would be nicer to speak in english anyway....
Then, I read about some feature missing in the italian version of the PPC2002 Rom, expecially the transcriber (that I think can be installed separately).
Anyway I would really like to put my hands on both TIM and Vodafone Italian Rom.
So it would be nice to have someone able to give some FTP space to upload and share it for few days....

Hi i'm italian. I'm new user. my ppc XDA II is O2 and it came from german. I must change the language to english or italian. Where can i found???? And if i put an english version, my sim operator work????

ciao l'ho scaricata ma non riesco ainstallarla.. puoi dirmi come devo fare ? non c'è l'usuale file .exe!
io ho una xda neo (la versione tedesca) e ho già messo l'ultima rom (quella del dopod wwe senza problemi) ma essendo quella che hai postato in italiano avrei voluto mettere quella ma senza file .exe non sò come fare
ho letto che serviva un altro programma da scaricare, l'ho preso. mi si apre una finestra in dos
faccio tutti i vari passaggi per il cid e l'unlock ma poi quando arriva a caricare la rom vera e propria mi dà sempre errore dicendo che non riesce a copiare un file (active sync è attaccato benissimo)
sai aiutarmi per favore?

Ciao wildsetup,
il cid lock è un blocco che non ti consente di installare le rom di altri operatori o di effettuare il downgrade (cioé passare dalla rom x a y con y<x). Se il tuo telefono è un i-mate o un qtek originale italiano allora non hai bisogno di sbloccare il CID, infatti puoi installare tranquillamente l'ultima rom i-mate o qtek in italiano. Se invece hai preso il telefono all'estero e quindi hai una rom inglese/tedesca/olandese che vorresti cambiare con una italiana allora devi sbloccare il CID!!!
Purtroppo i modelli recenti di Wizard non consentono più lo sblocco del CID e allora, per installare una rom di un altro operatore (o in un'altra lingua), sei costretto a modificare manualmente la rom che vuoi installare seguendo questo tutorial (scritto da me): http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=56088

Esiste un'elenco dei modelli (e versioni) che pressentano questo tipo di blocco? Individuato il modello e la versione, ci vorrebbe un bel diagramma (di flusso) per guidare le operazioni di aggiornamento/modifica/sostituzione delle rom!

.....é servita a chi come me e qualcun'altro qui nel forum, aveva il p3300 brickkato. installando questa versione, siamo riusciti a resuscitarlo.

this there was hard but I did not have a choice of my device was Conglomerate of iron.

Who it did l' updating with success?
I divided the Rom with Dutty' s in the file *.nb, then I did the alone updating of the OS and of the ExtRom, but does not work myself from the message of corrupt file.
Who it succeeded to do l' updating???
