Newbie here, just got my jasjar (well 4 of them since O2 doing them cheap), at £160 cant refuse
So ive been reading here 2-3days ive managed to ditch the O2 rom and put the jasjar rom on and ive cleared the extended ROM and so far so good.
I was reading into the VGA hack and theres constant mention of these holy files which i cant seem to find anywhere, looked on /uploads/universal and there jus not there
so any1 got an alternative download link?

ok i must be blind cos i cant find it for the life in me, its not in /upload/universal, tried all diff logins.

Hi,
as you can read in the subject i´m searching for a PHP-Server (and maby MySQL-Server) for my PPC.
Once i found a site to download it (don´t know if it was a fake), but my computer crashed by opening to many sites (i was searching for many things on this day)...
Now i´m trying to find this site again (since this morning) but i didn´t.
Can anybody help me please ?

you mean you want to run nushere on you PDA? wow! let me know if you find it! I cant see why it is not possible to get it working on it, just a little question, why woudl you want it?
I hope someone else can help me here. But if i find a solution, i will post it here.

When I get board, totaly board, I code on my P800 and then save it and upload it, through file upload onto my site and test it online!, cost me in GPRS. Upload fee and then test fee! very expensive. Hope you can find something.

why dont you dump it on the ftp in the additional cabs dir beneath "hermes"? i guess alot of people would be interested in it
Well I went to upload it and with the upload user/pass off the wiki, it isnt workin, I dunno if the permissions are off or im just bein an idiot, but I tried just usin my finder, and and a client, if someone wants to upload it to there themselves I'll be more than glad to send.
Also I noticed there is a MSN LM folder by Subzero5, but it appears to be empty..dunno if he is already ontop of it, the folder was made at 8:45 this mornin.

right ive got it installed now and ive found it to be very very slow. takes 30-40 to load the contacts and i cant seem to use it over wifi i think im going back to the original
Hey, im a brand new ameo user but have previously had many windows mobiles.
Firstly can i get wm6 on it? whats the difference? is it dodgy?
Also I want to change the screen resolution on it to make it alot smaller, is there a program other than vga.zip as i find that does nothing but crash, is there another?

May be worth asking away about windows mobile 6 on here. I havent had the courage to upgrade to it yet, but alot of people have, so i would recommend reading the posts here.
Also having VGA mode that seems to work, i used MvRTrueVGA_v1.3
which can be found here:

Or try searching using the SEARCH function and select advance, and then put in TrueVGA choose to search the ATHENA forums only and a few options will appear.

The update utility cannot be used on your pda phone. please check your update utility. Im using activesync 4.5 and my phone is uk t-mobile ameo.
There is now no software on my phone and i cannot use it?
please can someone help even to get it back to how it was?

Hi, this is my first post, so I'll keep it short and sweet, a lot f people seem to be having a problem updating there m600's to wm6, I had the same issue and thought I bricked my phone, thanks to this site I was able to get a wm5 rom that worked but still struggling to find an english rom of WM6 that will work on my g4, alot of the links in the threads are now dead so can anyone send me a working link to a rom that they think will work, if they have and want to send it in an email or something the rom I will be happy to seed via bittorrent as I know the owners are getting a lot of hassle from microsoft,

I was searching for them, but I just read through the forum an got one im now using Fantastic Mobiz v2.0b4 but I cant get sms to work done a hard reset a few times n still nothing, checked the message centre number n thats fine, dont really know why it dosnt work recieves messages but dosnt send and I can phone people too, any clues or should I try another rom? if so what do you think is the best to use I heard PDAVIET Roms v4.0.0.0.5 was the best but the link to tom-love.net dosnt work from my machine or at work
Try one of the newer roms... Crystal V4 is working out well for me, I also tried Mysterious 1.0 and liked it, Prophet Touch IX is also new and looks good though I haven't tried it yet

Im sorry but this may be a long post and I dont even know if it goes here..
I had a wing about 1 year ago and i sold it because i had no idea that this web site even here and i had no idea how to use it. I mainly got rid of it because it was really slow and the touch screen you had to use that stylus. Now that I found this website I want to get the wing again. I have been reading and reading for like the past week and i read the guides and for some reason I still dont understand how to flash new roms and everything. so im wondering if someone would be willing to help me step by step over aim or something when i get my wing sometime with in the next week.
also i see a lot of people are having problems with the wing with applications not working and sms and mms and all other things not working and all that.. is that something that happens when you flash a new rom or what is the cause?
also is there a facebook or myspace application i can put on my wing? i am addicted to facebook and myspace..
also if a new rom is flashed would i still be able to download applications from other websites like handago and they will still work with the rom?
I think thats all the questions that i have.. if i have more i will post something else. Thanks in advance for the responses that i may get! everything is appreciated.

havent run into an app that is solely for for those but i use opera mini its free and works wonderful for other web pages as well

yep the chef who cooks the roms here do not lock installations on aps
so any rom that i put on there i can put any applications on there that i want also?
also for the touch roms does it make it easier to use your finger? i remember when i had the wing before i always had to use the stylus.. anyone out there willing to help me when i get my wing to flash the roms..
I wish that there were more pictures on here of the roms so i will know what i am flashing.
that is a question of the interface usually u will still have to use the stylus but some of the roms UI are finger friendly

i got a Question um with cooked rom for the tmobile wing have a working myfave bc i flashed the manilla rom and i cant get myface tab to work
if i remember manilla will not work with the fav 5 today icon since it doesnt support them
