ROM and OS versions

I'm new to this forum. - Mine is a QTEK 2020, and I wonder if my versions are up to date, and would I benefit from upgrading?
It's bought here in Denmark (where Dangaard are importers of Qtek, I believe they may have an update?)
PPC ver: 4.20.1081 (build 13100)
ROM ver: 1.03.00 USA
ROM date: 09/24/03
Radio ver: 1.05.12
Protocol: 1337.12
ExtROM ver: 1.03.21
I know it is boring to have to tell newbies the same old stories, so maybe someone can just point me to the relevant info?

No, there are more recent ROM versions, though not from O2.
Just search on the forum for rom upgrade.

ROM for Qtek 2020i

I have a Qtek 2020i that has no ROM installed. The Qtek site is no help to me as I don't read scandinavian. Does anyone know where to download a ROM?

Its is dutch, but it is a english rom.

www.my-xda.com has the rom on it, but you need to get into the bootloader somehow.
I think the FTP site here has it on as well if that doesn't work.

QTEK 2020i ROM upgrade

As I try to access the ROM, the site asks for IMEI number and does not accept my number. I think the reason is that the pone is bought from USA. Will you please give the exact address of the ROM.

Stupid question really but here goes...
Is this ROM an english version as currently I have an XDAIIi with the new I-Mate PDA2 ROM installed onto it.
Is this ROM a newer version?? If so can I use it on my XDAIIi??

What is the latest version of Radio and ROM can be useful for this Unit ?

Extended ROM Help

I recently used a cab to unhide the extended rom on my o2 mini s. That worked with no problem. When I try ti install programs to the rom they keep failing. Any idea?

I recently purchased i-mate JAMin and the system shows the following wersions
ROM version: 2.13.9.23 WWE
ROM date: 2/23/06
Radio version: 1_02.20.21
Protocol version: 4.1.13.9
ExtROM version: 2.13.9.123
any one will tele me if i need to upgrade.

You have the latest version ROM i-mate has to offer. Unless your device has some software related issues, it's best not to mess around with the ROM.
