Does the Wizard have a USB or USB2.0 port, I heard it was USSB 2.0, so when copying music to it with media player it should be faster, but it is not, maybe it's the cable, anyone got a clue, so only other USB 2.0 device i know is the HP 4700

I would like to know if the cable USB to mini USB supplied with the universal to connect it to the PC is a STANDARD cable.
I have other similar cables (MP3 player, photo camera, ecc...), can I use it without any problem?
Please, let me know.
Yes it is a standard cable
Just curious what all can be done with the mini USB connector on the Wizard other than Active Sync and charging.
Could the device be used to charge a bluetooth headset that also takes mini USB?
Possible to add a pocket drive for more storage?
I am pretty sure with the level of talented people here that someone has found ways to maximize functionality through this port.
it's only for charging and file trasfer
the device doesn't support usb host so you can't use a drive, or keyboard, etc with the usb
With WM5Storage or CardExportII the miniSD card can be used as USB FLASHDRIVE
I have tired a 10 port powered USB Port it did not work with MOJO, I also tried a small non-powered 4 port hub that need not work... (I used the 2.0 USB port on the back of the MOJO) PLEASE ADVISE or Re-Direct me in the right direction
I bought a powered USB 3 hub from Amazon (UK) and it works fine in the USB3 port. I didn't try the USB2 port.
I have a spare Sabrent hub with switches for each plug and when I tested it on the USB 2.0 spot, it worked with my air mouse and Mojo CTRLR.
I have a wired keyboard with a built-in 2-port hub. It works with the KB plugged into the USB2 port and a mouse in one of the hub's ports.
@ajelliottjr, what ROM are you using? I still have stock 422. And, as suggested, I'd try the USB3 port.
I got this little guy from monoprice for $3.70. I have a dongle for my mouse/keyboard, the CTRLR dongle, and a powered usb hard drive plugged in and they all work perfectly.

Given that I have an USB 3.0 that I want to use to expand the storage, Would I be able to utilize the USB 3.0 speed if I used a USB hub 3.0 on my nexus player? or would it be limited to 2.0 speed by the NP itself? I already have a 2.0 usb hub, so I am wondering whether or not it's worth buying the 3.0 hub for it

The nexus player being 2.0 will be a bottle neck so you will not get 3.0 speeds (even with a 3.0 hub).
I haven't been able to transfer files over usb 3.0 from my computer to my phone. It works perfectly over 2.0, but only charges in the 3.0 port. I ordered a usb 3.0 select from monoprice, updated 3.0 drivers on my motherboard, and installed lg firmware for Windows and have still had no luck. Anyone else been able to make it happen?
Stock ROM? Using the factory cord? In a usb 3.0 port? and Using MTP (File trasnfer) mode on the phone?
Completely stock phone/rom, but the cable is a monoprice 3.0 select series. In my experience, it'll usually still connect to a 3.0 port, but transfer at 2.0 if there's a non 3.0 component in the chain. It doesn't even show in explorer. Yeah, regular file transfer. It's flawless in a 2.0.port.

If you still have the stock cable, try it. If that solves your problem, then you know its the cord.
It's a 3.0 phone, but for some odd reason it ships with a 2.0 cable. The 2.0 cables work fine in the 2.0 ports, the 3.0 cable works in the 2.0 ports, but for some reason the 3.0 port isn't even doing backwards compatibility on any cable. Just charging.
