Is there a way to remove the calender tab from the tf3d home screen? It really annoys me because it doesnt open the calender in the view i like. Whereas it does if i select it from the calender menu.
Is it possible to make the calendar on the Manila2D home screen show more than one upcoming event? I've tried disabling some of the other things but it doesn't auto-expand the calendar, it just leaves blank space.
In the Home screen, there is one shortcut to open HTC calendar. Can it be changed to open Outlook calendar instead? Thanks.
I'd like to change my calendar shortcut on the homescreen of manila 2D.
You have the 3 lines, alert, calls and calendar. If you push row 3 you get into the standard calendar. Now I'd like to use another calendar.
Is it possible to change te link on the main screen, so that it will open up the other calendar?
I know that thumbcal does that automatically , but i'd like to use IneSoft Calendar.
Is it also possible to let the coming events still appear on the homescreen?
thanks!
When I click on an appointment on the home page it launches HTC calendarin agenda view, is there anyway to have this either launch Outlook calendar or HTC calendar but in day view? HTC Calendar settings only gives options for reminders and default first day of week. I have looked around in the registry but have had no luck.
1. Diable calendar tab. This will make you jump directly to outlook calendar.
2. Or you can opt for a more advanced type of calendar app. Install ThumbCal.
I thought I had managed to do this once before, however when I just tried again (removed the calendar from the homescreen tabs) clicking on the calendar entry on the homepage now does nothing. I have done a soft reset but still the same. Any ideas?
Actually, the calendar link on the homepage is weird. It only works properly with the calendar tab. Once you remove the calendar tab, the link works only under certain strange conditions, described as follows:
1. If you have appointments for today, the link will not work. It can only show you one entry of today's appointments.
2. If you have NO appointments for today, and calendar link is a blank (i.e. showing on the "calendar" name on it), then the link will work to bring up outlook calendar.
So basically, it's inconsistent. That's why you have to forget about the calendar link of homepage. It's useless.
Here are some of the options you can do.
1. Place the outlook calendar on the of the quick links. (You'll have to swipe up on the homepage to access it.)
2. Use "Bsb Tweaks" app to change the left soft key of Sense UI to outlook calendar. (Originally, the "Phone" app sits on this soft key. But it works exactly the same way as the call key at the bottom of the phone. Making it redundant and useless.)
3. On your Start menu, bring the "Outlook" folder icon up to the top of the menu. That way, it will be easy to access outlook calendar anytime from under any running apps, by tapping the windows button, then outlook folder, then calendar.
