I need some help with my active syncro 4.1 what it is i can connect to my pc but does not syncronise folders, and it lets me explore but cannot delete or drag and drop.
It syncronises but not the folders and i get an error message saying
sycronisation cannot be completed successfully reconnect your device and try again .if the problem persist see the microsoft activesync trouble shooter in microsoft help on your desktop computor

Please could someone help me.
I have XDA2 an instaled active sync. The pc connects with the pda via usb. I've set it to synchronise files and favourites. It created a folder on my pc desktop called My Douments. Everything on the pda is there, but when I paste a file into it and then press Synchronise, it synchronises, but the file does not appear in the folder on the pda or anywhere else on the pda. Why is this and how can I resolve it

Plz hlep me I cannot seen any thing when I explore or when I connect to my PC or sync.
How can I see all files & folders is any option I miss?

Check your firewall settings

Check your firewall settings. Somebody had the same problem a couple of days back - he had blocked Windows Explorer from accessing the internet (sensible), hence the hassle.
If you are able to sync, you should be able to see. I assume you arent a first time user and I dont have to tell you how to explore?

Solve the PROBLEM!
Simply Reinstall the Active sync & that works fine!.
Error in installation of Active Sync.
If any other brother have this problem try to reinstall the Active sync.

Can anyone tell me where my ActiveSync has gone since upgrading my ROM to Big Storage?
I want to be able to sync over bluetooth with ActiveSync but I cant find the shortcut to it on my magician!
I have an empty Activesync folder in my windows directory.
The strange part is that all my contacts and mail and stuff have all synched with my magician when I connected via USB to my PC, activesync synched it all?

I noticed the same thing too when I was trying to setup bluetooth sync
in windows folder there is a shortcut called async.lnk and a file called async.asy. The shorcut points to async.asy and if you click it, it will launch activesync.
I put async.link in the windows / start menu / programs folder and unchecked 'Hidden' in the link properties, and it appears in my programs menu now.
I had a friend or should I say so called friend erase my phone. Basically hard reset it.
Now it will not sync or install any of my apps.
I had the 2.25.11.1 OS if it makes any difference.
I tried deleting all devices on my activesync and then renaming my phone and it still will not sync.
I try installing my SPB software and it all is unsuccessful.
Any idea would be greatly appreciated.

Upgrade it to either 4.2 or latest 4.5 beta from microsoft and then try .
I upgraded to 4.2 and deleted all but the device name I applied to my phone.
It starts the connection then briefly shows retrieving setting before a screen pops up saying sync process cannot be completed and to view the troubleshooting help page for activesync.
I have no clue why its acting up now.....
Ok thrn go to ur systems Document & settings folder then to ur users defined profile then in microsoft folder u will have activesync folder & in that there will b profiles manually delete the files restart ur laptop or desktop rename ur mobile device with difffrent name then restart ur device also , then try to connect , hope so this will work and make sure to restart both of them b4 connecting .

I have a Trinity connected to a windows xp box via active sync 4.2.
Sometime over the last week or so I seem to have lost the ability to explore the trinity from the xp box (and hence copy over files).
When I click the explore link from active sync the explorer window shows my c drive, and the right link copy to device says that the device is not connected.
Synching still works, and I can browse the web from the phone via the link and I can still install programs to the phone.
Any suggestions on how to fix it?

have u tried uninstalling active sync and reinstalling it?
