JAMin BAD headphone jack

The headphone jack of my JAMIN is very loose and the JAMIN
device "thinks " that the headphones are still inserted on the device even when its not...This disables all speaker and all sounds coming out of JAMIN
When I plag in the headphone I can hear all sounds!
When the headphones are not connected, the device continues to be in a mode like when the headphones are connected, thus SO SOUND at ALL.
Is there a way to disable the headphone jack for good !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is there a way to fix it .......HELLLLLPPPP me i am going crazy !!!

Taking calls with wired (music) headphones

I've seen the simple USB -> mini phono jack adapters available for the 8525, but is there a way/device to use wired earphones that includes a microphone, too?
I'd like to be able to be listening to music (wired earphones) and take a call through my earphones, rather than unplugging and/or pulling my earphones out.
This is what i did: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=250290
The microphone on the bundled headset is surprisingly good, I managed to have some conversations with the mic still in my pocket!

Bluetooth headset volume low unless I plug in my wired headphones first!?!?

I have been having a heck of a time trying to figure out why my bluetooth headset volume is so low. The bluetooth call volume is fine but the MS Voice Command, Media player, etc volume is low. I have played around with the AudioPara.csv file but it has never made any difference. If I plug my wired headphones first, then turn on my AudioGateway program the volume is perfect and the sound quality is excellent. So my question is, is there a way that I can force the phone to think it has a headphone connected before I enable the AudioGateway? I know that the phone can tell when the headphones are connected because if I try to run the HTC equalizer it tells me to connect the headphones first.
I have done tons of research and testing and I am still coming up empty.
I would like to ask a favor, I need someone who has a Bluetooth headset and a stock wired stereo headset.
First install acbToggleBT, this program allows you to open a connection between your headset and your phone. You can skip this step if you already have a toggle program.

Next, play an .mp3 using windows media player or your favorite player.
Leave the stereo wired headset unplugged and run acbToggleBT, this will connect your phone to your headset. You should hear music through your Bluetooth headset. Make a mental note of the sound quality and volume. Run acbToggleBT again to turn off the bluetooth connection. Plug in your wired headset so you hear the music. Now run acbToggleBT agian.
Is the sound quality much better? Is the volume twice as good?
I have been playing with the AudioPara.csv file but the settings don't seam to help. I found the Speakerphone uses the settings in rows:
A12,CE_PLAYBACK_HANDSFREE
F26,CE_PLAYBACK_HANDSFREE
I found the HeadPhones use the setting in the rows:
A17,CE_PLAYBACK_RESET
F25,CE_PLAYBACK_HEADSET
I also figured out Column 4 affects the volume. I tried coping row F25 into F26 thinking that the bluetooth was using the Headphone settings when the headset is plugged in. I also copied the rows into the bluetooth row and it didn't make any difference.
I have one of those little mini usb to 2.5mm stereo adapters. If I plug the adapter in before I activate my bluetooth is sounds great.
I have come to the conclusion that I need an application or program that can enable the headset profile before toggling the bluetooth connection. Effectively making the mini usb trick unnecessary.
One final though, I am using a plantronics 510. Maybe its the difference between a stereo connection and a mono connection. Maybe plugging in the stereo adapter fools the bluetooth to think it should connect in stereo. Is there a trick to make the phone think the bluetooth headset is a stereo device?

Jack for music, bluetooth for calls

Hi *.
Default output order for Touch HD is: external speaker, 3.5mm jack, bluetooth headset. So when I connect bluetooth headset while listening mp3s, jack output or external speaker will be turned off. But that's not what I want. Is there any way to have mp3s [or any other non-call audio] played throught jack, but incoming call throught blue headset? I really need this.

Click to collapse
In the settings for the Bluetooth headset, there should be two check boxes ... one for "Wireless stereo" and another for "Handsfree".
I am guessing you have both ticked when you only wnat the Handsfree ticked, perhaps? Would that work?

Works like a charm Thanks.

Car stereo Aux input

If I connect my i9000 to the car stereo (Kenwood) via the headphone jack on the phone and Aux jack on the front of the stereo, the sound is really quiet, even with stereo on full volume. I'm using Gingerbread.xxivo.
Any ideas?
set volume to max on phone.
Try headphones to find out if the phone has issues or something else (cable, car stereo).
