Hello i'm in need of a handsfree speaker component for my imate jam i have got my hands on one but the maximum sound output isnt that hight as from the original..

how did you get your hands on that? I'm looking for the mini speaker in the front but am unable to find it anywhere. I voided out my warranty by opening up the thing and now I'm in desperate need of that mini speaker.

I tried to check the forum for this problem but I only could find something scarcely useful.
My Qtek 2020 has the microphone which seems to be completely dead during a phone call. The recorder works fine, as well as the speaker. I can only get a regular operation with a BT headset. The external (wired) headphone is still dead but only regarding the microphone.
I' ve been reading some posts about the phone connector: do you think I should open the phone and check for that or what else ?
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Yes, I have XDAII, I have exactly the same problem as oberdorfer.
The mic is working fine in recorder. But not in phone mode.
I have tried replacing the mic, but no luck.
I tried searching thru the forum, but nothing. Anyone can help?
I bought a second hand good condition Atom Exec for a lot less than the new one and still got warranty intact. However, it didn't come with original headset (well I've heard that it sucks anyway). So I'm going to buy a headset.
Can anyone recommend me a headset for my Atom Exec? Both wired and bluetooth. Right now I'm considering buying an I-Tech Clip R35 because I can go wired or bluetooth and it's small.

PS. I also want to know that the Atom Exec jack is ordinary 2.5mm audio jack. Or the jack also includes one additional signal line for microphone.

my earphone jack has just failed. I'm sending for repair. Good luck with new/old o2, you'll need it if what I have read on the site is true. Mine has some issues but the jack problem renders it unable to accept calls without using the headset.
sorry can't help with a 3rd party headset recommendation but your right the o2 headset/earphones are crap.

Everyone knows how bad the internal speaker of Jamin, for that I ask is there other speakers compatible with Jamin ? like Nokia speakers or other and working with SRS WOW without any problem ?
I found here that I can use Motorola L7 speaker, but need advice about it's durability and strength of voice with Jamin
I prefer Nokia speakers for availability in my country, but don't know which is compatible with Jamin

I read with some interest the following thread from the "Wizard" section. It is about an little application that someone over there wrote to change the loud speaker over to the ear piece when using SKYPE. However unfortunately this application does not work on the Atom Life, nor do any of the other Audio re routing applications that I have been able to locate on the WWW. Does anyone have a solution for our Atom Life to change the audio from the front speakers to the ear piece of the hand set?

the atom life works fine with skype and wm6 sip and others. it would be nice to use the phone without the need for bluetooth or wire headset.
