I dropped my mini and the touch screen is damaged , but display is ok.
So i have question , were can i buy a 2,5 lcd for my mda ?!
On the HTCeurope they want 120pounds for repair :/ but i whant do this myself ... Help me and sorry for my English :///

I have a mda vario and yesterday it started gaving me a problem.
If i open the keyboard to write an SMS or something the touchscreen will not work.
BUt if I leave the keyoard closed it will work perfectly.
Any ideias why this happens?

Could be cable damage inside the unit. How old is the MDA?
unit is a few months old.
maximum 5-6 months..
What cable are you inside are you talking about?
If its within warranty why not get it repaired by the manufacturer?
There is a flexible cable between the keyboard and screen units, if this gets damaged you may see some strange issues.
I can not send the phone to warranty because the is no mda here in portugal.
I would have to send the phone to england here I bought it from.
Can you please tell if the flex cable is sold separaly from the screen or keyboard?
First sorry for my bad english,ill try to keep it good.
So , i have bought today an second-hand HTC Charmer (Tmob mda compact II) which has a broken touch or forescreen , i dont know how to call it, im a bit newbie to PDAs.I can control it from my pc with SOTI Pocket Controller via activesync but its a bit useless with touch ability . And here comes my idea! I know that Compact I and COmpactII is different in hw but! i have an fully working MDA Compact I too , and that has no problems! is it possible, to disassemble the Compact I and put his screen (or just his touch thing(soz as i know(and as here is also visible)that not the screen is recognizing the touch,but a paper like thing on the screen))into my charmer? If yes, than i would take help ^^ thanx for your help! !Screens about the charmer attached(packed into zip)!

why dont you try it. they are very easy to open. if i remember wright me old mda1 had same screen connector
The screens are the same so it will work if you change them over, you also need to change the button part as well,for some strange reason the mda 11 one dont work with the mda 1 screen,hope this helps.
Hi guys, soo i bought a second hand Wizard, the phone is in great techncal condition, but the screen is not.. there's a dead pixel and the touchscreen is not soo sensetive, so I want to change the screen, but here's the problem. My phone is a wiza200 p/n: 99hbh054-00 version (G4) and on ebay i found too different kinds of displays..
