This might be a stupid question but i´m a nOOb, I have a QTEK S9100 and I have some software that I want to install, my problem is that on some software it says that it it for MIPS, ARM or SH devices.
Can ne1 explain what this is and also explain to me wich QTEK S9100 is

These are types of processor, though I don't know if MIPS and SH are still around.
ARM will work on the Wizard.

is there a way to download a cab file or install direct from a http://url ? tried in internet explorer but couldn't find a way to do it
only if the site you are looking at has cab files as a choice to download.
And dont't forget, some of apps are not working with WM5 yet.

I'm pretty sure that there isn't a stand-alone version of WMP10 but all the latest ROMs for WM2003SE contain it.

ok, no cab, no official upgrade. But if. some rom have wmp10 compatible with WM2003se I am sure that we can find files to copy somewhere and registry settings to change. Does somebody have already done this job ?
I think the atoms mediaplus application looks like a great idea, does anyone know if it's possible to extract it from the atom and install it on other devices.

Havn't been able to find a patch for this one.
There's only a patch available for O2 Plus 2.0.

I own an HTC Wizard and an HTC Prophet.
When I try to install the program it tells me that I there has to be a program called "connect" on my device. Older versions also had this message, but there was a patch to work around this.

I havn't tried O2 Media Plus, but I will have a look for you to see if I can get it and make it work on the HTC Prophet

The file "\Storage Card\soft\o2plus2.3.cab"is not a valid Windows CE setup file.

You should run this on PPC not on your PC. Just click that file on PPC and install on main memory.

Does anyone feel like making some individual cabs for each or some of the plugins?
I know Last Call and I think Calendar have been done before, but what about Battery/Card/Memory, etc?

after I tried to install a WM6 Rom on a G500+ and looked into several Eten DUMPS I wondered how to change the identification of that device, because it says something like "wrong hardware version" or so if I try to install that X500 ROM on it (what propably should be normal to be said) but is there any file or so which needs a change and then recompile the ROM to make it work?
Or can someone please help me step by step to brew a WM6 ROM for the G500+ and perhaps the G500? I think WM6 should work on the G500+ because of the hardware and processor speed.
So what points are exisiting to be taken care of?

This site is actually for HTC based devices. There may be someone that might know how to help with your particular device, but don't count on it. Good luck though.

They all start on my QTek 9000, but I'm not able to make call with none of them (apparently for them there's no network...). So, do you know where to find newer versions, that might have better driver support? I'd also like to see more versions that would be able to run from image files, rather than partitions...
