O2 Home Theme - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro General

Hi All
i used to buy all the O2 versions but on this occasion opted for the Jasjar
however, i really like the O2 themes........... is it extractable from the O2 extended Rom and if so which cab file is it?? (don't want to muck up my Jasjar with O2 active !)
if not, can anyone post the .tsk file here for me to download....it should be the one with the bubbles rising up in the middle like the XDAIIs
many thanks !

I installed O2 active on my MDA Pro just to get this, and it don't even have any bubbles!

what is the theme then?
and if you installed all the active cab do you have all the bloat that goes with it?
and which cab file is active?!
so many questions!

signed_UNI_o2AUI4_build76.CAB
Thats the cab for active.
That is the O2 homescreen! How pants is that!

yep, pants! no bubbles!

Its not even SVGA let alone VGA?

Right, after seeing O2's pathetic attempt at a theme, I've fixed the standard O2 theme that comes with the Exec.
It now has full VGA support, and some bubbles

Good (splashscreen) idea for changing your SplashScreen

Yesterday I was browsing the Wizard area of the XDA FTP server and I bumped into a file called SplashscreenStuff.zip
So I downloaded it, read the ReadMe file and thought, this looks kinda easy, let's see if it's possible to change my SplashScreen (on a 2.18 Qtek Rom).
So I opened Photoshop looked at some existing splashscreen's and adjusted one to make it "my own".
The funny thing is, this SplashScreen can be useful if your device gets stolen (it is shown about 20 seconds on start-up on my device).
Take a look at it and if someone is interested in the Photoshop file, to adjust it to make it yours, feel free to leave a message here and I will make sure you get all the files you need.

Anti theft tattoo ?
I would really like to know if this can really work as a anti-theft strategy. At worst, the "finder" of the device can flash a new ROM, can't he? Is there any really anti-theft strategy?
the picture is not displayed!!! why??
How can I make my own splashscreen?
try this thread
The tools are old, and they have been ported to ROM-kitchens also, but they do work.

Shortcuts on today screen

I've tried to search but can't find how to, or what prog is needed to show a bunch of program shortcuts on the today screen, like the XDA dev special edition rom 1.2for PPC, which has many icons in a block.
Also does anyone know if the XDa-dev program 'welcome.exe' will run on Xda2i? Or anythng similar which cuts out the stupid cut and paste thing etc on hard reset?

[customisation] All Crossbow Icons (from Universal)

There have been a number of threads about extracting icons from Crossbow and using on other devices.
I've made an ICL (icon library) with all of the icons from the rom in it.
In the mood of complicating things as I do, you will have to use Microangelo or a similar icon editor to open an ICL (Please try not to ask noobish questions about how to open this file.)
Feel free to send a donation or click or my check out my Google ads on my webpage, if you feel so inclined

Vijay SV,Aserg was very good but u can instal PDAMobiz WM-6 works lika a charm..incidently me too from Pune...
How can I replace my current icons with these new ones?

O2 Xda WM5 update to WM6 ?

Is it possible to update the OS.
Also I would like to know if the ROM is the chip data and that is updatable as well or am I confusing it all again and ROM is the OS
Thanks
you can only update the wallaby(O2 XDA) with WM2003SE, thats it i am afraid and the rom is the radio and OS on this so when you update you update it all,not like other devices on here where you can update just the OS
It has WM5 on it, isn't that 'higher' than WM2003SE already ?
well it isnt a wallaby then that you have,as if you have WM5 on a wallaby i would tell the forum and become a demigod on here, as it is impossible to do
go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/index.php
and look for a picture of a device that looks like yours as you cant have a wallaby, unless somebody has changed the splashscreen that you see when it boots up to make it appear as if you have WM5
Well to be honest none of the pictures look like the O2 Xda
I went on the group description.
The Wallaby phone is sold as O2 XDA, T-Mobile MDA, Qtek1010, Siemens SX-56 and many other names.

I don´t know if it´s too late but I´ll reccomend Ather´s Dark or Diamond Editions.
Diamond is working great on my TSM500.
Just added Spb Pocket Plus and my programs.
The best I met so far..

Black_HTC_Style 5.2.19213.1.0.4.SY395 32PP_61.28Prog_32_RD FINAL
Find the file through google.
Tha Ather Dark Edition works flawlessly on an XDA II (O2).
Upgraded from the original WM2003 ROM and never been happier - and have no reason to change it!
Ather's WM6.1 Diamond edition works great... just love it!
