I need to lock my sms inbox.. Is it possible to do that in WM5? maybe put a password on it or something like that.

RJV SecureInbox 2002, was an app for WM 2002/03 SE phone edition. They may have continued development, search for that app and see if you can find any WM5 progress because that app did exactly what you wanted.
I've found the cab file and installed it but unfortunately it doesnt lock the inbox. There any other applications?
Tired of google's answers now ;/ damn hard to find a solution for this...

nah, cant lock the whole device.. my gf need to made some calls from my "free" phone when i got my spare nokia 7380 but i don't want her to read all my sms...

I use SMSorganizer to backup my inbox (text/mms) using the export function in case my rom update doesn't go to well.
You could export your text inbox and delete them, at the end of the day you could restore them.
Try Device Application Locker (DAL)..google around a bit!!

It works now it pretty Amazing haha you need to app unlock your phone now even wm5torage n moblue n omapclock kewl i just cant get cool camera or htc camera and web camera to work

How do you app unlock your phone?
Also, did you have to install the TellMeText certificates cab file?
I have tried this app and I have to say that it's not that good.
1) It is hard to understand the robotic voice
2) He talks to fast making it harder to understand the text.
Nice concept though. Developer needs to tweak it more.

@THEFOSS: My Tilt put the password in 1min because of that jijiji
But I wanted to use something else JUST IN CASE.
Before I used to be able to send mms without a data plan and now I cant. What can I do to fix this? I cant even send it to myself. I dont have a data plan, never really did but was always able to send my mms/pix. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Btw Im running Bionix 1.3.1 if makes any difference (twiz edition)
Do you have packet data turned off? That is what was blocking it for me. Also try to send tje mms with a 3rd party messaging app.

sorry Ive been so busy with work I havent been able to update. (I work weekends)

What she says is perfect. And to turn data off while keeping mms on use data toggle widget from market. The mms wont download but you will be notified.
Its not perfect but its great!
Just wonering is a mod like that possible. I rather just be able to lock my mms instead of my whole phone. On my old school motorola razor I was able to pick what part of my phone I wanted to lock what if its mms or my contacts. I could most likey download an mms app from the market with that feature but I actually like the default mms app plus I hate the ads that go sms and handcent has. So I'm asking if a developer on here could mod the lock feature on this phone so that we can pick which part of our we want locked.
