Hi, I noticed yesterday that I cant reply to text messages. no problem writting new ones.
when I tap "reply", write the MSG and send it, it says "Your text message cannot be sent".and goes to the Draft folder.
Can anyone help ?
That happens when you do not have enough service to send a text message, like 1 bar or something.

Nope, full reception..
:?
I just called my service operator ,apparently Orange has a problem replying to messages from other operators.
Yep...
Probably there are some problems sending sms's from Partner to Pelephone.
I've also encountered especially this kind of problems while sending hebrew sms.

Bright Star
I get that error when the SMS service centre number is not set. I'm on T-Mobile UK and I loose my service centre setting on every reset - even a soft one! Anyone know how to get it set permanently?

Hello, I´m trying to kill by code the notification popup bubble that is shown when you receive a new sms message, just inmediatly when it appears
Is it possible ??
Thanks in advance
This is a problem that the SMS app should clean up. Basically, the sms notification messages tell the phone to do things. For example the message to turn on the new SMS indicator is a blank text message with a subject of
Voice Mail
From
"Voice Mail System" . <[email protected]>
The SMS application should delete it afterward. After Talking to a smart guy from T-mobile Wireless Data group I also learned that this is a function of the Glenair voicemail system. Some upgrades cause it to send these messages as I did NOT get them in the past on my Nokia 8290. Some handsets do this automatically apparently or maybe its just something new.
Of course I may be totally wrong...
other imput appreciated.

There`s a key in the registry (HCUK/Software/Microsoft/SMS/Protocols/..) in which is defined which Application should start when a SMS arrives, standard is /windows/tmail.exe - if you change this key(s), you can redirect the SMS to other programms and the POPups are away. But be carefull: If the Application in the key don`t handle the SMS, the SMS-Text are "lost in space".
Hope that helps al little bit? ;o)

This notification you mention is specific to T-Mo and does only that, wake up. I have tried to kill this little run many times with no avail. For some reason the 2003 OS's except 4.00.10 do not have this as a default. I did not do a system snap in between upgrades, wish I did then I could finally tell what little bastard does this and kill it in future versions if I or other US users are happy being notified only once instead of twice by two different methods that they have a flippin' Voicemail
On MDA there's an Option to turn off the Bubble (but there's also an envelope on top of the screen.
Start->Settings->Sounds&Notifications->Notifications->Post: New SMS
If you remove the hook on "Show Message" further on there is no bubble again

aweright here's another problem ov mine, so Please HELP!
it seems that every Text SMS that i send, my JAM resends it again ONCE or TWICE without my knowledge. My "SENT MESSAGES" folder only shows one SMS being sent, but the other mobile receives my message more than Once. and this has been happening for quite some time now, until one ov my friend asked me why i keep sending him same message again and again.
We are both on the same Network, and its not a NETWORK problem!..
Anybody knows what could be the problem, maybe its the settings that have all been messed up or something.
look this:

SPB Pocket Plus may be create this problem...after send SMS don't close mesaging while show info about SMS sending..
Hi All
Somehow I just cannot send Text (SMS) from my HTC cell.
I have configured the Web GPRS setting & the internet works, I can send MMS messages but cannot send SMS msgs. Though I can receive SMS msgs sent to me. Wierd uh..... I inserted my SIM card into another phone & I can send & receive msgs. So I know it has to do with some setting on my new HTC cell.
Can someone please shed some light on this
Thanks
