that flashing orange light notification. - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 General

It is already randomly flashing!
Sometimes it does flash green, but randomly it will flash orange when I dont have a missed call, reminder or message received.
What else does the orange flashing notification mean?
The battery is at over 70% so it shouldn't be that. and i have reception. so not that either.
Also is there any way of clearing this notifcation and making it green??

LED blinking (under sounds and notifies (or whatever in ENGL

hello there..
under PREFERENCES/SOUNDS&NOTIFIES (or hwatever in ENGL. cause my Win is GER here
i can set sounds and vibration and even a blinking LED....
right?
i understand that so, that for example if i miss a call or if there is a new sms it blinks yellow instead of green as usual...
BUT it would be reasonable if it blinks different till i notice that new thing.
BUT it blinks so long until the time is up that i chose in the preferences.... that is stupid... so it blinks longer, even when i recognised the missed call or the new message....
any comments of you to this topic???
thx in advance!
The 'FLASH LIGHT FOR' is your screen flickering

No flashing amber light??

Isn't the flashing green light supposed to flash amber if there's a missed call or unread text message? I know this used to be the case when I had the Vario 1 (Wizard), so wondering whether my Vario 2 (hermes) isn't working properly.
or maybe you just dont have it set to do that?
silly me... I had this set on my old phone for so long I forgot that it's not a default setting. Sorted out now. Thanks.
May I ask what software did you use for this?
You don't need software, just go to start, settings, sounds & notification, choose the notifications tab, and then from the drop down list, select the event you want to have a flashing amber light for (e.g. Phone: Missed Call), tick the box 'Flash light for' and choose the length of time.
Mine flashes amber all the time. I do have those settings enabled, but it never has flashed green, although it glows greenwhen fully charged. Ideas?

Notification acting up

Please excuse my noob question. I tried to search but didn't find an answer.
My Cingular 8525 with the latest official WM5 ROM has started acting up. It seems to think there is a notification present. It blinks the LED in yellow and sporadically makes the sound currently programmed for new voicemails. If I afterwards I get a valid notification (e.g. missed call), and I clear that notification, then the LED blinks green and the phone behaves normally.
If I soft-reset the phone, a few seconds after the green Windows Mobile screen displays, the phone vibrates and plays the sound. It keeps playing the sound and vibrating every few seconds for a while, blinking the yellow LED (the phone is fully charged). I don't see any other notifications on the screen. After a while it sometimes stops playing the sound, but the LED keeps blinking yellow. The playing of the sound occurs at longer intervals if you just let the phone sit. Only if another valid notification occurs and is then cleared does the blinking LED turn green.
I haven't installed any new software recently. It just started doing it on its own. I can't pinpoint any event that started this. It seems to be activated early during the boot process, before the normal WM5 Today screen comes up.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Thanks!
I couldn't find how to delete notifications with the trial version of SKtools, probably because it only shows 6 entries of things it finds wrong in demo mode, but I was able to use MemMaid. Seems like a good program so I may buy it.
There were a few duplicates, but the problem persists after removing them. Same symptoms as before.
I hope the official WM6 comes out soon. I don't want to hard reset my phone until then.
What I don't understand is that getting some notification (e.g. a missed call) will result in the phone going back to normal. Also, the sound/vibration that it makes stops after a few minutes, only the blinking yellow LED remains until clearing another notification makes things go back to normal.

LED Notification

Hi Everyone,
I had my Magician upgraded to Cotulla's WM6.1 cooked ROM, my problem is that LED notification is changed after the device has been suspended or put into standby mode example signal LED notification is not working, only green LED is working for new SMS, missed call and bluetooth notification. Is there a way to disable LED device suspend or is there a patch/registry fix and setting LED notification back the usual way example green LED signal notification, amber of new SMS, missed calls wireless notification and blue for bluetooth?
Thank you very much.

LED notofication

Hello at all,
How does the LED notofication work on your device?
I use K9-Mail. there I have the option to set LED notification on. But nothing happens.
It should work for SMS (handcent) and K-9 (E-Mail)...
Is there a way to fix this?
hm, seems that it blinks 2, 3 times and thats it... what is the benefit of the light which blinks 0,8 seconds?!
next funny thing:
device is in standby, mail delivers, it rings, vibrates and the LED blinks 2 times. Then I reactivate the phone and the LED blinks one more time...
Is it such a big problem to get such basic function works. We have now Android Version 2.2 on the phone. so they had enogh time to develop this... or is this a problem ob Motorola...?
Mhh I never saw it being a problem. Whenever theres a mail, message, missed call it blinks green to a set timing. On WhatsApp, you have the possibility to set it to any colour you want. That only works if you have your phone rooted.. so that way, my phone now blinks purple for a WhatsApp message.
By the way... sometimes when u have a message and you turn the display off/lock it without reading it, then theres one longer led blink but then goes back to the normal pattern, I guess just to remind you before you put the phone away that there is actually an event that u missed. Theres a program called "Blink" on the AppsMarket where you can customize a colour for every event... if thats something you are looking for ?
