There are tons of posts on the JASJAR, XDA Exec and TMobile MDA Pro in here. Read a few.

VVVIMP PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!!!!!

Hello Forum,
Once again i need help from all the pros here. I have two forms of Universals as an option for purchase. The O2 EXEC or the i-Mate JASJAR.
[big] PLEASE HELP ME IN CHOOSING WHICH ONE BY DISCUSSING THE SLIGHTEST DETAILS AND DIFFERENCES AMONGST THEM[/big]
ktEE
They are same hardware, you can use ROM flashing to change the rom between them...
One costs like £700, one costs £140
Ill leave the rest to you.
Look at this thread on the same subject. I personally would recommend the XDA Exec have owned the JJ and the Exec.

New Exec Info

Found a new forum dedicated to the XDA Exec, could be good....

By that rational you might as well know about
my forum as well.
Just for my releases and other pocket pc stuff, but it's "universal" in both senses of the word.

How to start customizing?

I got my T-Mobile Wing a month ago and I really like it alot now. But I was wondering how do I start customizing and changing the interface? Simple things like for starters changing the color of my interface? How or where should I go to start customizing my phone?
The T-Mobile Wing isn't a Hermes, it's a Herald.
A good place to start is the XDA-Dev wiki -
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Herald
as it covers most things. After that, read through the Herald forums and see what other tricks are out there.
You might also want to pay attention to the Wizard and Hermes forums as they will be mostly compatible, but compatibility would not be guaranteed.
Are you serous! I've been in the wrong forum all this time! Thanks!

Yup. The Hermes on T-Mobile is the MDA Vario II
And the keyboard slides out the other way.
Which does yours look most like? This?
This is a Herald -
Yours may not look identical, but different suppliers have different fronts on them - a Trion from O2 and the TyTN from HTC are both Hermes, but they look reasonably different. However, these differences are almost entirely cosmetic.
And if you look at the Wiki the Herald is also known as....
HTC P4350
Dopod C800
Dopod C858
O2 XDA terra
Vodafone VPA compact IV
T-Mobile Wing
As if it wasn't confusing enough, eh?
(Perhaps a forum admin needs to add them to the Herald forum description...)

Is i-mate PDAL in this catalog?

hi
I get my i-mate PDAL last sunday, and upgrade it to wm6.
can anyone tell me my pdal is in Prophet catalog?
thanks.
No it is definitely not a prophet. (Just look at the picture next to this forum on the forums list)
In fact a quick look on pdadb.net reveals that it is not an HTC phone.
So please do not try to upgrade it using any ROMs for the Prophet because you will destroy your phone!
thank you first.
but i look for whole this forum ,and can't found any catalog like i-mate pdal. so, if i want to upgrade/change my wm6, where can i join?
As I wrote before - i-mate PDA-L is not made by HTC!
This forum deals with HTC phones, though sometimes discussion of other WM based devices like iPaq takes place in general forum.
So there is not and won't be a catalog for your device (sorry we can't open a sub forum for every phone out there).
I have not seen any such discussion on PDA-L and as far as I know no one is cooking ROMs for it.
You are welcome to ask in general forum and perhaps someone will give you more information then I can.
I'm so sorry that i don't know this forum is just talk about HTC machine.
I'll go to general forum for some answer what i need.
thank you again.
