This is the latest version which I see on O2 Connect.

Is this a cracked version which works on any magician /?

Annoying popup
The program runs fine on my 1.11 version.
But after every soft reset a popup with information is displayed and needs and OK.
Can it be removed?

finally got it to work, for those O2 mini users who upgraded to Qtek romm, need to run After_Sales_Service.sa and O2_User_Angent.sa before running O2plus installation

After your suggestion I went to the ftp downloaded those 2 cabs and installed them on my upgraded imate to qtek. NOW I had to Hard reset and reinstall everything because of a stupid error message which comes up every 2 secs stating I need to upgrade to the correct rom cannot finish installation. There is no uninstall. And I couldnt be bothered going through the regsitery to take it all out manually. So everyone dont install these 2 cabs thinking it will bypass the need for a ceacked version of o2plus !

If I can get those 2 files, I can try myself to find out what's wrong.
But, I can not go the ftp to download those files.

i am not sure why you have to hardreset, but I have confirmed tt these 2 files, after running, will enable o2plus to isntall and run properly.

It is work!
My unit is O2 XDA II mini, upgrade to BigStorage ROM 1.11 without installing O2's ExtROM.
Before I install those 2 files, O2plus 1.6 can not run, so I need to install the cracked version of O2plus 1.6.
After I install those 2 files, O2plus 1.7 can run on my O2.
There is a small problem after install those 2 files, I need to go to Today, and select another themes, because the screen doesn't refresh (all the text and background picture is messy). But, selecting other themes (and back to your favorite themes) solve the problem.
So, I would suggest you to try, but before you need to do backup (xBackup) to prevent unpleasent experience.
What I do is:
1. Backup to SDCard using xBackup.
2. Uninstall O2plus 1.6 (crack version).
3. Do soft reset (just to make sure everything is OK).
4. install those 2 files.
5. Do soft reset (just to make sure everything is OK).
6. Go to Today to fix the refresh screen problem.
7. Install O2plus 1.7.
8. Do soft reset (just to make sure everything is OK).
Maybe I too much do the soft reset for this installation, but no harm right
Afterthat, O2 plus run smooth on my O2 with bigstorage ROM.

Hi guys
Hope someone can point me in the right direction. I just bought a O2 xda mini and it doesn't have O2 Connect on it - or Os Plus. My old IIs used to, but this newer machine doesn't.
I'm located in Australia, so I registered my device with www.myxda.com and it says I have the most up-to-date software .... and there's nowhere to download either O2 Plus or O2Connect.
Where do I get the right version for me?

since you have O2 mini, you can just download the O2 plus (as posted in the first post of the thread) and install w/o any need to crack/hack the code.

Everything works except sound profile which lets you in. But wont let you out again without soft reset. Any other JAM user with this problem?

on hardreset, all customisations are run from Extended_ROM.
By default it is locked for writing with a password.
That means, you cannot add or remove programs, which are autoinstalled on coldinit.
Now you can.

Thanks for working on this. I realize that a lot of people are looking forward to "freeing" up memory by deleting the extended ROM (i.e. Big Storage). I'm one of them. Here's my question: Does this allow you to delete the files in EXT ROM? If so, are they PERMANENTLY deleted? Or can I "restore" them by reflashing my ROM from the ROM Image provided from imate's website? Sorry for the newbie questions.

Unlocking Extended ROM allows you to delete or add files into Extended ROM.
Files are permanently deleted or added.
Once you flash the device with new ROM, which contains ms.nbf (Extended ROM image), it's content is then flashed to the Extended ROM. That means there will be new content in there...
This is my first contrib to Universal, Exec, JJ community...
Next step can be the same as i did on Himalaya.
To get more storage space, e.g. remove the Extended ROM partition and make the Storage partition 10MB bigger.

NO.
This will work only on Universal, O2 Exec, Dopod 900, Jasjar Qtek9000 etc...
If you want i can try to make one for Wizard...

Excuse my lack of expertise, in PC terms is this similar to having a copy of the uninstalled o/s on your harddrive and is only required when you wanted to reinstall your o/s?
If so, would it be possible to empty the rom and only place one cab file which loaded all the required cab from SD? i.e. copy the rom to an SD and then be able to hard reset using the SD to reload the o/s?
How much space does the rom take up?

Listen i have an question and a problem..the tool is cool no doubt about that. Now we can exclude some unecessary programs etc.
But my main question is does this remove the Simlock aswell? ?!? ?
Because there are a lot of people who cant use their MDA PRO properly because it has an simlock of T-Mobile......if this does not remove the simlock could you make an program that does...? I think it is now quitte easy cause the ext. rom is an open way.....
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BUZZ and all others.....Help and make an Sim Unlock tool just like you all dit before for the Himalaya etc. etc.

I tried to register at ce4arab.com to download O2 Plus V2.3.
Is there anybody that can download it for me? Since my Arab is very bad
I think I did manage to register but even with online translation tools I wasn't able to download the file.

Havn't been able to find a patch for this one.
There's only a patch available for O2 Plus 2.0.

BTW,whats ur device?

I own an HTC Wizard and an HTC Prophet.
When I try to install the program it tells me that I there has to be a program called "connect" on my device. Older versions also had this message, but there was a patch to work around this.
I will see if I'm able to solve this problem

The file "\Storage Card\soft\o2plus2.3.cab"is not a valid Windows CE setup file.

You should run this on PPC not on your PC. Just click that file on PPC and install on main memory.

Why should someone offer himself for your curiosity?
Yes it works on the Wizard/Prophet

Does anyone feel like making some individual cabs for each or some of the plugins?
I know Last Call and I think Calendar have been done before, but what about Battery/Card/Memory, etc?

It will work, just that the music keypad MIGHT not work , till we find the lnk files which my friend is working on

Its pretty good. I have to say that I've flashed my Xphone IIm to WM6 and its par with the official rom. Its running smoothly and so far *knock on wood* there aren't any problems. Just keep in mind that you'll lose JAVA (Unless someone knows how to bring it back). Its far better then WM5. I suggest you to flash to WM5 , then start your upgrade from WM5. If you do that , its a safer route

WM2003SE --> WM5 ---> WM6
Just to be extra safe , do a hard reset (Just say Y to both of the questions during the bootup Clear <something something>. Then boot into boot loader and flash)

These all are additional programs included in the TNT rom,which you have flashed,it depends which you are likely to use or not.Better explanation about these programs can be found in the TNT thread from where you downloaded this Rom.
